Leave a bone for Dinah Beans

Dinamo, Dinahbertbeans, Bernadette Williams, Bean or Beans, Long Dog, Gross Girl, Pig Puppy, Frito Friend, Special Girl

Doggie Dynamics:

Quick Bio:

November 10th 2005

A good game of tug-of-war is one of my favorite activities. I also adore my "big sister" Ditto Monster and I pretty much follow her everywhere. Give me a nice bone to chew on or rub my belly and I'm in heaven. I also love to play outside when it's warm

I have a very strong sense of smell so I don't like any deodorant or perfume and I especially hate household cleaners but other than that I'm a laid back girl who loves attention.

Favorite Toy:
My favorite thing to play with is my big sister Ditto Monster. We have fun together and she likes to run around the house and back yard with me. I also really love my tug-of-war rope and I am really fascinated by the bathtub and shower.

Favorite Food:
I mostly eat Iams puppy food but I also love my bickies and an occasional piece of pizza crust.

Favorite Walk:
All my walks have been lots of fun. I love to sniff all the trees and see the sights in my neighborhood!

Best Tricks:
My Mommy and Daddy say I'm cute. I've heard them say they can't stay mad at me for long so I guess my droopy ears and sad eyes work wonders for me.

Arrival Story:
I came from Fancy Basset Breeders in Whitecloud, Michigan. My mommy says it took her a long time to find me but once she talked to my breeder and saw a picture of me she knew I was the right puppy for her and Daddy. She told me the story of how they waited for me to grow big enough to come to my new home, looking at pictures of me as I changed. On my arrival day Mommy and Daddy drove about an hour-and-a-half to pick me up. Mommy told me that as soon as I nestled myself in her arms she fell in love with me. The first day I came to my new home I slept a lot and I was a little nervous about my surroundings. But I'm an inquisitive pup and it didn't take me long to settle in with my new family. I'm especially happy when I'm with my best friend and fur-sister, Ditto...she makes me feel safe.

Today's My Birthday

Mom says I'm turning two today. I heard her tell Dad she can't believe how old I am already. Dad has to work and Mom has to study at the library today but they said they'll bring me a special treat when they come home. I love my family so much and I'm really a happy girl. It's wintertime again and I really don't like going outside when it's this cold. My fursister, Ditto had a birthday not long ago too and she's eight years old now. I love her so much, we're best friends.

Happy birthday to me!

Spring Time is Here!

Yipeeeeee, spring is here! Back when I was just a pup and I had to learn to go potty in the snow my mommy told me these warmer days would come. At the time I didn't really know what she meant but now I'm getting the idea! I love to lie in the freshly mowed grass under my walnut tree and just sniff the richly scented air as it stirs around me. The bugs are fun too, they fascinate me. The other day my mommy got out this huge stick with big metal tines on the end of it. It scared me a little and and when she started moving my nice leaf beds all around the yard and throwing them into big paper bags I was kind of upset. I tried to close the paper bags to make her stop putting my beds in there but then I realized the grass underneath my old leaf beds was cool and soft I was okay again.

There are still some things I don't understand about spring, like why the bees make buzzing noises and why my fur-sister, Ditto gets so excited every time she sees a bird or a squirrel. I also don't like lawn mowers much, they're loud and I have to go inside when they come out. But all in all I am loving this thing they call spring. Mommy says I have to get trained soon and I don't know what that means but I hope it will be fun.
