Hi Pups & Peeps,

My mom has decided she needs to get onto dogster more, and I'm totally on board with that! I've missed y'all sooooo much. I hope y'all are still barkin' regularly, going for walks, sniffin' butts, layin' in the sofa and eating good treats. We moved to Whidbey Island last fall, and it's pretty cool up here. I have my own back yard now... and we get to go on some great walks on some great hiking trails here. I have a bed in every room again, of course... and still live the good life. Being HEAD OF SECURITY isn't as challenging here as it was in the city, so I guess I'm sorta retired. I still see rabbits every day, but now I get to see deer too. They've even come into our yard a few times, but alas... I was either in the car or the house.

Mom has a really cool job now selling wheelchairs for dogs. She works close to home, and comes home smelling like other dogs a lot... but I'm okay with that, since she's helping them be mobile again. The stories I hear indicate that dogs come in all depressed cuz they can't walk, and she measures them and has the shop build a contraption for them that allows them to walk with their front legs and wheel around with their back end. Really cool, if you ask me. I'm all about dogs living a good quality of life, after all.
