Likes: I am an avid pursuer of small ground mammals, including cats. I also like nose scratches and sitting on Casey's lap
Pet-Peeves: I hate it when the dastardly cats are prowling in my neighborhood. They are vermin and should be eliminated. I also don't like thunder, vets, getting shots or having my nails clipped.
Favorite Toy: Other than human feet, I love my Betty Binky. She is the special blanket in my life.
Favorite Food: My favorite food is anything that will go in my stomach, even when it shouldn't, like 2 pounds of black jelly beans, anything out of the trash can or kleenex.
Favorite Walk: I don't get to go on as many walks as I should, but I love the trail along the rim and the island park in the Yellowstone River.
Best Tricks: I sit, shake (with either paw), lay down, and go around bushes that I get wrapped around in the yard. I have also learned to run the opposite direction when Casey says "come."
Arrival Story: I don't remember much of my childhood, but I ended up in the Clark County, Wisconsin Animal Shelter after spending some time on the run through the county. I am healthy, but I needed a little love and attention, something I don't think I had before, considering the BB found in my paw. I was obviously the cutest dog at the shelter when Casey came, because she picked me even though I was a little too hyper. After 5 years with her, though, I'm getting the hang of being an indoor dog, even though I still like to run off and explore whenever she lets her guard down.
Bio: I am a travellin' man, and one of the newest residents of Billings, Montana. I have settled down a lot since my younger days, and have a great time going on excursions with Casey. I like our travels, and had a great time on our cross-country trip from Indiana to Montana. I've found that there are many perks of being a spoiled dog, like sleeping under the covers when it's cold, and having lots of toys to play with, like my special blanket. Casey has taken me on a few road trips, like the time we went to South Dakota to visit my grandma and my uncle Vito. I've also been to Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia and everywhere between Wisconsin and Indiana, even to Michigan! I'm a sporty guy, and I love to rollerblade in the summer and cross-country ski in the winter. I also enjoy the pursuit of small ground mammals.

I hear that eating organic is all the rage. But Nali and I continue to be stuck with our same ol' kibble - Science Diet regular.
Casey feeds her roses all-natural organic food made of bone meal and other minerals - why not us?!?!
So last week, after she carefully applied the powder to the roses and re-mulched them, Nali and I decided to supplement our diet with the tasty bone meal. We dug away the mulch, pulled back the landscape fabric, and ate all the bone meal we could get at.
Casey, quite dismayed, proceeded to give these mere flora even more yummy organic deliciousness, then water it in so we could not (theoretically) get to it.
But Nali and I are smarter than that. We just dug away the bark chips and fabric and ate the dirt.
So there.
I feel much healthier, thank you very much!
There was more moving this weekend.
The u-haul pulled up, and Nali and I were sure that we had a full invasion on our paws. We were NOT going to allow that beast in our driveway!!
Then we saw Casey in the cab. Oh.
We were promptly locked in the bedroom while a new couch was brought in, the old (comfy) couch was taken out, and the new bed was brought in.
We did get some good lovin's from Casey and Dan's friend who was helping with the move, but it was still an unsettling sort of day. We were then banished to the yard while Casey and Dan tried to put the house back in order. Nali also managed to gnaw (a little) on the corner of their friends' handy tool kit bag.
Finally - they noticed our distress. So out came the BIGGEST hunks of dead cow we had ever seen! We chewed and gnawed and licked them for the rest of the day - we hardly even noticed when Casey and Dan left with the u-haul and left the yard. We didn't even notice that we didn't get dinner that night!
OmnomNoMnom!!!
They did, however, play a nasty little trick on us. Not wanting us to get sick from a cow bone OD, Casey called us to the front while Dan STOLE OUR BONES!! How uncool is that?!?!?
One more check mark against the new guy...
In protest, my leaking problem started up again - on the new couch. He was less than pleased.
Pups, there are so many things disturbing the general order of our happy household, I don't even know where to begin.
Actually, I do. It all started when my good friend Dan started coming over. Then he started staying over. Then he started moving his stuff in.
Now, don't get me wrong, the dude is pretty cool, and he's got my required nose scritch down pretty good. But here are my list of complaints:
1: He has replaced my throne by the window with some fancy-schmancy "Lazy Boy" that rocks. I do not like to lay in a chair that rocks.
2: Couch time has been severely limited, as has been my mom n' me couch cuddle time.
3: I no longer get to sleep under the covers with Casey at night. Even more, I don't even get to be in the bedroom! The door is now closed, and Nali and I are left to fend for ourselves at night.
4: He does not drop nearly enough food when he cooks.
5: He does not take me on enough walks.
That's all I can think of at the moment, pups. But here's the real rub of this whole deal:
Casey is letting him abuse me in the manner listed above!! She condones this neglect of my personal needs!!
Plus, she has not let me check in with my pups on dogster lately. Seems she is too busy helping Dan cram our small house full of stuff and dig/mow in the yard.
Whatever. I need to keep up on things!
I come back today to find that our dear friend Mulligan has gone to the bridge! What else has happened in our absence, pups?? So uncool.
I took matters into my own paws yesterday. My invisible fence collar's battery had run dead, and I realized that I could now approach the fence without fear of electrocution. So I found my opening and went off in search of a new mom.
It was all good - there were bunnies, other dogs, and a few other people, but then it happened.
It started to rain.
Having been unsuccessful in my search for a new home, I headed back to Casey's to see if I could at least get a warm-up and some kibble before heading out again.
To my dismay, however, I found Dan in the driveway. He and Casey had been out looking for me, and he had come home to see if I would return.
