 Quick Bio:
Likes: Being petted, sleeping on the bed while everyone is at work, butt scritches.

Pet-Peeves: SQUIRRELS!!!! I do my best to chase them from my yard. And strange cats in my yard.

Favorite Toy: I don't have a favorite toys. Mom and dad think I was never really given one to play with. I pretty much just stare at them.

Favorite Food: Dad says it's pizza. I was just pretty much laying around when I first got to my new home, because I was a little confused as to what was going on. But, as soon as he took the pizza from the oven.....I was at his feet BEGGING!

Favorite Walk: Anywhere and time so I can sniff all the new smells.

Best Tricks: I don't do any tricks.

Arrival Story: Well, a situation came up and my previous owners had to look for a new home for me. A lady my mom worked with, mentioned me to her. She talked dad into at least taking a look at me, she was looking for a playmate for my brother, Duncan. Dad wasn't sure about getting another dog, but he said okay. Well, as soon as they came into the yard to see me, I walked over to dad and rolled on my back for him to scratch my belly. That's all it took.

Bio: Chloe is a joy to have. She is very quiet except when outside, and then if anything is near "her" area, she will bark and warn them that SHE lives here and to stay away. She is a great little guard dog, and I believe she would be a great protector, even for as small as she is. She does have a alpha personality, but doesn't really flaunt it. About the sweetest thing I ever saw her do, was one day, on Emergency Vets, they were performing a C section on a dog for delivery. When the puppies started whimpering, her ears perked up, she ran to the TV, sat there cocking her head back and forth; then she started looking for the puppies that were crying.

It's been a great summer. It hasn't been hot, so I've really enjoyed being outside this year. Dad worked on his pond and I keep all the birds out of it when I can. He also put in a patio in back of the house. It has LOTS of shade and I've been laying there most of the time while he's been working outside.
I check out my fishies at least once and day, to make sure they are okay. Mom is back to work after her surgery, so she doesn't need me to keep her company anymore. Although, I miss laying beside her and keeping her company.

Well, mom has been pretty busy this year. Her mom hasn't been the best of health, so she has been taking care of her. Plus, she had to have surgery herself. That's why she hasn't updated my page for a while.
Still, now it's spring, and dad has gotten my pond set up already and loaded with four fishes this year. I already spend a lot of my time watching and trying to catch them.
While mom was recooping from her surgery, I was her company. For about 3 weeks, if I wasn't outside checking up on dad and his progress with my pond; I was by mom's bed. She like that, she was able to reach down and pet me and talk to me. Helped keep her from getting bored. So, now, I just have to be careful while she is walking around on her crutches. Dad says she is as graceful as a giraffe with 3 broken legs using crutches. With luck, she'll be able to take me for walks in about a month. Sure can't wait.....

Well, it's been about 2 1/2 months since my cancer surgery, and no lumps yet. Although, mom thought she felt something last week when I was laying on my side. She waited until dad got up so that they both could roll me on my back and completely look me over. BOY! Was I ever in HEAVEN!!! Belly rubs by both of my pawrents at the same time. Life is good.
