Cupie

One Year

My darling baby girl, oh Cupie, not a day has passed that memories of you haven't flooded my mind, some making me smile, some breaking my heart all over again. It has been one year since you left us for the bridge and yet it seems like only yesterday. I can still feel you in my arms, sitting there in our chair, looking into your little eyes and praying for you to stay - stay even just for one more day. But I knew you couldn't... I knew by the pain in your eyes that you needed to go.

I hope all of your brothers and sisters were there to greet you and show you around and, I hope you've made lots and lots of new friends to play with.

I miss you my baby girl, I always will.

Happy Birthday my sweet baby girl

Today would have been my baby girl's 9th birthday. I still cry. I miss her dear, sweet little face looking up at me. I miss her running through the house when I said "it's cookie monster time!" I can still see her running up and down the fence, barking at loud cars and trucks, her little hackles standing straight up.... I would laugh at her and say, "Cupie, Honey, you wouldn't know what to do if you caught one"!!

So many memories, so few years to have her with me. It's still hard to believe that she's gone. I still call her sisters by her name. Cupie was, and still is in my heart, she always will be. She was a very special little girl who literally stole everyone's heart that ever met her. A true little Cupid.

It still hurts

Oh dear baby, I miss you so much. Again tonight, I sit here at look at your adorable baby face and I cry. I ask God if I should have taken you to the vet sooner, I ask Him if I let you get to fat, I just cry because I miss you so much. You'll always be my special baby girl. Mom loves you, my sweet baby.

My Mom

I'm watching my Mom, she's sitting at the computer looking at my pictures and the tears are starting to fall. I think she's going to get sick if she doesn't let me go. My sisters have all adjusted pretty well, Mia and Bella have each other and Taco has new little sister, Lily, to keep her company. Mom needs to go to sleep now. She's very tired. I'll send her a Cupie kiss from heaven. I miss my Mom so much, I know she mourns me, I just want her to know that I'll always love her. Cupie

Smiling from the Bridge

Woof morning everyone. I'm watching Mom, Taco, Bella, Mia and new little Lily this morning. Mom has almost stopped crying now . . . almost. She seems to be ok as long as she doesn't stare at my pictures very long. I miss Mom and I know that she misses me, very, very much but, I'm so glad that Mom brought Lily home, not just for Taco sake, but for Lily's too cuz she desperately needed a loving, furever home. Hi new Sister Lily!

I am looking down at my new sister, Lily! I'm watching her play with Sister Taco just like I used to before I got sick and left to cross the Bridge. I'm so happy for Taco, she's ok again! I know Mom worried about me thinking she didn't love me anymore but I know that shes does, I know that she always will. Mom still cries when she looks at my pictures . . . she still rubs me with her fingertips. I miss my Mom and my sisters Taco, Bella and Mia but, I have so many family and friends here that I'm kept pretty dog-darn busy!! I love you Mom.

New sister

I guess you heard that Mom needed to get a new sister for Taco. I'm so happy for her cuz I knew that she was grieving and it was really upsetting Mom. Mom had a talk with me before she adopted Lily, she cried because she didn't want me to think that she didn't love me or miss me anymore. She calls Lily by my name sometimes, it just "pups" out. I know that Mom will always love me but she had to take care of Taco too. I watch from the Bridge and I see that Sister Taco is happy again, she's playing and running and barking at everything and it's all because Mom put aside her own feelings and rescued Lily. She's a pretty cool little pupster, I would have loved to play with her too!! Mom said that someday she'll give Lily her own Dogster page but right now she just still hurts too much. I love you Mom.

Can't do it

Mom is sitting in front of her computer, she's looking at my pictures and crying. She had more pictures of me but her other computer broke and she put everything on one of those little thingys that's supposed to save it but the little thingy won't open up on her new computer. She's very upset about it. She said she's going to call in the Geek Squad. Mom still can't go for more than a couple of hours without crying. She even misses me being "MISS PIGGY" about my food, especially the treats! I would woof my treats down so fast that I would choke myself! She never could convince me that I wasn't starving! BOL! Taco eats so slow, she even takes time to chew her turkey jerkey, hmmmm, that's why I had so much time to steal hers if she wasn't watching! You know what I miss? Sitting in Mom's big old soft chair with her watching TV. I would lay next to her and kiss her hand, then she would rub me, then I would kiss her again and we would do this for hours. She would smile and tell me I was the Kissiest girl in the world! Well, Mom's got to go now, she's going to watch my cousin, Chica Little, do her agility stuff. Chica's doing really good, Mom said.
