A Rose Between Two Thorns

I am the rose. Now let me tell you about the two thorns.

Thorn #1 - is named Goldie. He lives next door. He has an electric fence. He sits in his driveway and looks cute. That is until Violet, my sister cat, walks around our yard. Then he becomes a raving lunatic - barking, barking, barking. What a thorn he becomes! I think Violet likes to intimidate Thorn #1 because she knows he'll get zapped if he trys to come after her!

Thorn #2 - just moved in next door, on the other side. He is the weenie dog that I look at through the window. I bark at him because he is a weenie dog, and that is what you are supposed to do with weenie dogs - bark at them!

Yesterday, Thorn #2 was in his front yard - UNSUPERVISED - when my Daddy went to get the mail. As he was walking back to the front door, weenie-dog started barking really mean at my Daddy.

Daddy went over and bent down to see if weenie would come over to him. Nope ~ he just continued to bark like the big weenie that he is!

Then Mawmee decided to be friends with weenie. Nope ~ he just continued to bark at her too. You know, that mean, "I think I'm a big dog" bark. What a weenie!
