Q's in trouble!

Oooooooo....Q's is in trouuuuble! He decided he wanted in the chair mommy was sitting in and tried to get in it from the back of the chair and climbed up mommy's back using his claws! oooooooh, he is in so much trouble! She now has these long red scratches on her back.

Ooooohhh Quuuuuuueeeeee...where are you???? Your gonna get it, your gonna get it! hahahaha


gotta go see what mommy does to him, this oughta be good!

Wooohoooo! I helped daddy at work today!

I had so much fun today. Daddy is working on the apartment next door and they are remodeling it. Well, he left me at home while he went to work next door and since I know how to open my doggie security cover, I did and went straight to him.

I just knew he needed my help cutting all the wood and nailing it to the ceiling so I had to go to him.

Once I got there and daddy realized how much help I would be, he let me stay. I guarded daddy and the other workers tool boxes, I made sure the table saw was set up properly so daddy could use it and I also made sure daddy knew how to use his compound miter saw. (Just because I am a girl doesn't mean I don't know what these tools are! Even mommy has used them but with daddy watching her.)

And since mommy cleaned the house all day yesterday (with Q's help! heehee) me and daddy made sure to bring in lots of sawdust with us when we came home.

Mommy posted pictures of me at work with daddy on my Dogster page so everybody be sure and check them out. They are on the last page of my pictures. Mommy even got a picture of me kissing daddy for letting me help.

I may like to wear pretty pink bows in my hair sometimes, but I want to be just like my daddy and use all those tools like he does. Maybe I will build me a nice little getaway house to go to when Q is bugging me too much.

I am so tired right now I could barely dictate this to my staff person to type. Off to bed I go. Daddy already beat me to the bed, I will just have to push him out of my spot!

I am a daddy's girl and proud of it!

What a great day this is!

First of all I want to thank every doggie and kitty for purraying and woofraying bout my eye, it is doing much much better. I can now open it all the way, the swelling is gone and so is the redness. It is still a little sensitive to light but that too is going away. I feel much much better and am now wanting to play with my kitty brother Q.

Mommy just found out a little bit ago that I have been chosen to be Dog of The Day for Weds. July 26 on Dogster! Yeah for me! Also she found out right before that that my kitty brother, General Robert E Lee-an angel, was chosen for the same day to be Cat of the Day on Catster.com! She was bouncing off the walls then and then found out about me being chosen! Boy she really went nuts then! heehee.

I am so thrilled to be picked as Dog of the Day for Dogster. As everydoggie says "I would like to thank the Academy for this honor!" heehee. Mommy and daddy says I will get lots of treats from them today - as if I don't already get lots of treats anyway - since I am being honored as Dog of the Day. I am going to have mommy change my primary picture to one of me with my pretty pinks bows in my hair.

My kitty brother Q is also really excited for me! He says he will be Cat of the Week some day! As he can be a brat at times do they have a "Brat of the Week" over at Catster? (just kidding lil' Q, I love you lots & lots).

Mommy has got to post some more pictures of me too since we have Dogster Plus. She is always taking pictures of me (and Q) with that stupid camera of hers the least she could do is get crackin' and put some more pictures of me on my page! "Hear that mom! get at it*

Thanks for the woofrayers and purrayers everydoggie and kittie about my eye they really helped me and helped my mommy and daddy feel much better to have all the support from everyone.

And they thought they could keep me in the house!

Well, I certainly showed mom and dad a thing or two this week. Dad had installed a doggie door to the garage so I could go out there (only if the big outside door was shut) and do my "business". That is okay. But mom and dad will shut the security cover on it when dad is trying to go somewhere with out me and that is NOT good. I want to be with dad all day/night every minute of it. When he goes and works and I get to go with him, all I do is lay there and watch him or go to sleep. Well, okay I admit it occassionaly I am a pain in the butt or I gotta go potty while we are there, but I am a good doggie.

This week when they shut the cover to my doggie door so daddy could escape without me, I started using my nose to lift the cover up. Mom finally figured out what I was up to and told dad, but he said I would never be able to get it open! Boy was he wrong! It didn't take me very long, just a day or two and then....Magic! I got it opened. Mom just happened to be outside and heard me trying to get it open, heard my tags jingle and thought "nah...she couldn"t have". Next thing she knows I am flying by her on the way to find dad in another apartment working. He thought mom let me out, silly daddy! I have since done it several more times, but everytime it was cuz both of them were outside without me. Yeah I know I couldn't go with you mom and dad, but still...

I heard dad tell mom he was going to put a eyehook on the door so I can't get it open. We shall see about that. It won't take me long to figure it out, just watch me.

Motherhood???

Well, mommy and daddy are kinda relieved that my bout of "false pregnancy" appears to be over. They had bought me the Hide-a-Squirrel toy and I played with it for about a week, then hid 2 of the 3 squirrels and the 3rd one I carried around in my mouth and kept whimpering. I apparently acted like it was my puppy - I would sleep with it, keep it with me at all times, clean it, you name it! I also would not leave it alone for about 3 weeks, I was with it at all times.

I don't seem to remember much about all this but mommy and daddy told me all about it. Apparently this is normal for a girl doggie of my age (2 yrs old) who is not spayed and it just means I am ready to be a mommy. I would be a good mommy too. Daddy says he is going to try to find me a really nice boyfriend who is an English Cocker Spaniel, but it is kinda hard to find one as we are apparently kinda rare here in the US. Mommy and Daddy have been told not to have me spayed yet (although mommy wants to do it now) and to let me have at least one litter of puppies so there will be more English Cocker Spaniel's available. Mommy says (and I agree ) that there are alot of puppies and doggies that already need homes. She told daddy if they can't find me a boyfriend by my next heat then I am gonna get spayed. She told daddy she just knows that if I have puppies then they would end up keeping them all.

On the plus side, I get to be a mommy to my new kitty brother "Q". We are getting to be real buddies and I can be motherly to him also. When mommy and daddy ask where Q is I take them right to him! I bet when he gets older he isn't gonna like that! Q and I play all the time and when he does something bad I make sure mommy and daddy know! hahaha...

Well, time to go see what the little Q-ster is doing.

My new kitty brother

It has been a week since my new kitty brother came home. He is so so cute and I love him bunches. His name is Q and he is a Q-tee! He wasn't so happy to see me at first but now we play and play and play. Plus mommy and daddy pay a lot of attention to me so that I don't feel jealous of him when they play with him. Q and I are even starting to sleep together. We just started doing that today. I chase him all over the house and he chases me back.

I haven't gotten in to trouble lately. Mainly cuz Q is getting in all the trouble right now. He even turned mommy's computer off 4 times the other day! Boy was she mad! Plus he played with her feet and hands one night while she was trying to sleep and scratched them all up! He sleeps on mommy and I sleep on my daddy.

Uh oh- here he comes!!!! Time to play. I'll write more later.

The new kitty

Well, mommy and daddy have finally decided on a name for the new kitty that will be here soon. They are gonna name it "Q" after the character John DeLancie played on Star Trek Next Generation, Voyager and Deep Space Nine. I guess that is better than Quark or Captain Sisko. Although Quark was always getting or causing some sort of trouble maybe that should be the new kitty's name as I know it is going to cause trouble! At least now there will be someone else to blame if I cause any trouble! Maybe this will be a good thing. Mommy and Daddy tell me that the new kitty is to be a playmate for me and I am still first and will be the top dog of the house. You better believe I will be the top dog - of course I am the only dog, but...it is the title that counts sometimes.

I am gonna go to bed now and see what trouble I can dream up for the new kitty to get blamed for! heeheehee

The Mail Man

Well, my mommy and daddy are really proud of me right now. I was with my daddy in the garage when the mailman showed up at our apartment complex. Now normally when he comes I go nuts and bark and run around the patio and jump up on the fence trying to get to him but today I went running up to him wagging my tail just begging for him to pet me. I put my front paws on his leg and smiled and smiled and wiggled my butt. The mailman gave me a treat (I know my daddy gave it to him for him to give to me, but I won't let on that I know that!). The mailman petted me and said I was cute and a really good doggie. He even let me help deliver the mail. What a nice man.

I am pretty sure mommy is a little worried that I won't stay friends with him but I know I will. Especially if he keeps giving me treats!

I still don't like the UPS guy though and I won't until they let me Race The Truck! *big sigh* I hope that happens soon.

Well, my daddy and mommy are finally done working and watching TV now, so it is time for me to go curl up with them and do cute things so maybe I can get more treats! My daddy and mommy are the best ever.

A New Squeaky Toy

Today was a really great day. Somehow I managed not to get in any trouble, I don't know how I managed that!

The best part of today was I got a new squeaky toy. Mommy bought me the Hide-a-squirrel toy. It's a lot of fun trying to get those squirrels out of the tree stump. Although I think mommy is a little worried I might try to bury one of the squirrels cuz I buried a pink pig the other day. Actually I buried 2 of them! The first one she never found, but the second one she somehow kept a close eye on me and watched me bury it. So she dug it up and gave it back to me to see what I would do. I decided to bury it under daddy's desk that time. I dig it out every now and then to play with it.

I sure hope the new kitty doesn't get into my new Hide a squirrel. I may just have to bop him one if he does.

I made mommy laugh really hard today. Everytime someone rings our doorbell I bark like a mad dog. I heard the door bell and ran outside and started barking. Mom got up to see who was there and it turned out it was on the TV show she was watching. Not even mom realized it! hee hee. I wasn't the only silly one.

What a busy day yesterday!

Boy, I sure had a busy day yesterday. First my daddy took me for a run to the store. He rode his bike and I ran along side him. We went to the 7-Eleven by our house. When we got home I helped my daddy work remodeling an apartment.

Then my daddy had to go to one of my favorite places of all time....Home Depot! And he took me with him! I had so much fun there. All the employees know me and always want to pet me and see me do my tricks and the customers there always say how "adorable" I am too.

Later on I went with daddy to McDonalds to get me a cheeseburger for a treat. Mommy wanted to know what took us so long when we got home, and we told her it was cuz all the people there wanted to pet me and I did my tricks for them too. A lot of them gave me pieces of hamburger as a treat! Yummy! Daddy always asks me if I want a cheeseburger, cheeseburger cheeseburger when we go! I am no dummy, I of course say YES! I love my cheeseburgers. He also gave me a little bit of ice cream too.

I wanted to do my diary last night but I was soooo tired after all the trips we took I fell asleep. Yesterday was a wonderful day with the bike ride, trip to Home Depot and MickeyD's. I hope we get to do it again.
