2007 Doxie Derby!

Well y'all. It was my first public event and I had a blast! There were almost 30 other weiners there and I finished 2nd in the race, and 1st in the Go-To-Ground competition!!! Mommy kept telling me Saturday night how very proud of me she was and giving me treats! They even put my picture in the paper!! Well, they didn't list my name as being in the picture, but if any of you get the Bristol Herald Courier, I'm in the very bottom picture, on the left side, on the front page of the region section. Yep! That's me! I also posted a picture that my Mommy's friend took of me during one of my heats. I'm the one in the front with the white band on. Look at me GOOOO!! I don't care what they say, 2nd is okay by me! But I'll get'm good next year!!!

The Race is ON!!!

Guess what ya'll! My mommy heard about some dachshund races coming up the 16th of June at the Pet Partners in Bristol Virginia. All she has to do now is wait for the email so she can register me, and then the training begins!! I can't wait! Wish me luck, and if your in the area, come on by & join the fun!!

The Puppies and their pages!

Well, Mommy went online yesterday and set the puppies up with their own pages here on Dogster. She's hoping that who ever adopts the babies will keep it up and we can all stay close. She really wants to keep all of them, but Daddy doesn't see that happening. It's gonna be a sad day when they have to leave. Mommy's gonna cry I just know it! Guess I'll have to give her EXTRA nose kisses on that day.

New Family Memebers!!

Well, Mommy, Daddy, Belle and I have an anouncement to make. On March 18, 2007 we welcomed 4 new members to our happy home. We couldn't be more pleased with this miracle. We were blessed with 2 girls (Clementine & Ruby) and 2 boys (Spike & Gizmo). This past weekend, they opened thier eyes to see the world for the first time! Mommy is going to be weighing them and taking their pictures this weekend, so I hope to show the word my beautiful children!! Smoochies to all!!!!

Yippy Yappy!

Well, yesterday was my birthday! It was a great day! Mommy threw me a birthday party when she got home from work. It was fun. Belle, Junior, and I got all kinds of snacks, and treats and we even got party hats. It would have been nice to have some cake, but mommy said she didn't have enough time to bake one, but she promised I'd get one next year... The best part was getting to share it with Junior before Mommy and Daddy have to find him a new home. Who knows though! Maybe they will change their minds and decide to let him live with us instead!! Well, I guess Mommy will be putting my new pictures up real soon so everyone can see my cool toys and my cute boy. Tinkles for now!

Who's your Daddy!!!

Well, I'm going to be a daddy!! My girlfriend Belle and I are expecting our newest litter to arrive in about a week or so. I'm so excited! I can't wait to show them how to burrow and fetch and even snuggle a little! I love my kids. I always have loads of fun running through the yard with them.. I just wish Dad would let us keep them all. I think Mommy does too. She cried last time. But anyway, we've even got them a nice playpen to hangout in so they don't get lost in the laundry or sneak out like kids like to do sometimes. I'll post some pictures as soon as they arrive. I can't wait!!!!!

A wonderful day!

Today started off pretty slow. Mommy and daddy got up a little late. Then they had to leave and they left me home alone! But it was okay, cause mommy left the TV on for me, so I could watch movies while she was away. That sure did pass the time. When she finally got home, she took me outside to play for a while (I LOVE TO PLAY!!!), then we went for a walk! This is when the fun began! I had sooo much fun smelling all the smells and seeing all the sights! I even snuck in a mark or two along the way!! While we were out, we came accross some big dogs that started barking at us.. Daddy said they were just making friends, but Mommy picked me up and carried me away from them. She said that I was her little stud and she didn't want anyone to pick on me. How embarrassing is that?!?! Oh well. When we got home, I was so thirsty, I drank a whole bowl of water! But it was worth it. After that Mommy got my little rubber toy out so we could play some more, but Belle stole it from me and tore out all the stuffing. It was kinda funny! You should have seen Mommy's face when she saw it all over the floor! But that was the end of play time though. I hate it when that happens. So I just hung out with Mommy the rest of the night, watching TV. It was a great day!
