Arrival Story:
I was just a puppy at the pound when my dad found me. He told me that he and mom had just gotten married and then two weeks later her mom died, and he wanted me to come home with them to help mom feel all better. Then he left and got mom and brought her back to see me. She wasn't too sure because she was feeling too sad to really see how great I was, but she told dad ok because she knew he already loved me. So they took me home!

Bio:
I was a bit standoffish at the pound because I was tired of people taking me out of my cage and then putting me back, but once mom and dad took me home I warmed up quick! I knew mom was feeling bad so I did lots of cute puppy stuff, like getting scared when the ball I was chasing went behind the curtains, and sliding on the kitchen floor when I ran and pretended to slip! Mom began to see that I was gentle and a bit shy, and she began to love me, especially since I was very snuggly when she got lonely for her mom. Now she loves me sooooo much, even though I have some terrier in with my lab parts, and I shed a LOT! I am a golden fuzzball!!

Forums Motto:
I shed- therefore I am!

To pee or not to pee, that is the question.

Welp, I went to the dogter man today. Mom took both me and Kiko last week for our yearly visit, and they said my pee was dirty!! Hey, it is pee, what do you expect?? *what, mom? Oh, I see.* What I mean is, it was full of bacteria and junk like that. Mom said she hadn't noticed me acting like anything was wrong. Of course not, I am thoughtful like that! But anyway, the dogter gave mom some antibiotics for me to take and told us to come back in a week. So today was just me and mom. I liked that, I don't get to be with mom by myself very often. But I wasn't happy that we wound up at the vetman's place. I didn't used to be so nervous, but I've had a few unpleasant visits to that place, and I am like an elephant--I don't forget! But today Dr. Eric said that everything looked great and I don't have to come back for six weeks!! That is a relief. I love the car rides, but I'd prefer to go to the Dairy Queen, if you don't mind.

Woo Hoo!

I've been chosen as Dog of the Day for today, September 12th!!! It is really cool because we were already celebrating my Uncle Dan's birthday. Now I'm all famous and popular just for being me!! Mom had to work some today (Boo! Except that is where the food comes from, she says), so on her way home she stopped off and got me some special dinner. Me and Kiko also went to the groomer today, so I could be all beautiful in case we had any visitors wanting my pawtograph or something. Dad has been kind of grumbling, saying he has won awards and HE never got a special dinner. As if. What could compare to this?? And I'm so thrilled that I've gotten lovely rosettes from my pals, and requests from others wanting to be my pal! Thank you to everydog for all the love. It has truly warmed my heart. What a special day this is!!

What's the problem, officer?

Ok, so I prefer, when I go outside to do my bidnez, to carry out a little something in my mouth. My galileo bone, or a nice soft squeaky toy. I'm not insecure. I may have an oral fixation, I suppose. I do like to lick--my paws, Kikos' ears, moms' feet. Plus, when you are a dog, the only way to carry around your important possessions is by mouth. Hey, humans take books into that little room where they do their bidnez. This is just my version of that. Which is why I don't understand why dad insists that I NOT carry items outside. So I don't bring them back in. I know where they are.

Can I help it if he is half blind? How else do you explain him running over stuff with the lawn mower??
