A walk around the house, again and again. All day long.

Arrival Story:
Shadow died this morning, 3/24/2007. We buried her in the back yard. She was over 16 years old and had been a wonderful pet. We are sad about our loss, but know she is better off now. --Jim About 15 and 1/2 years ago I went for my early morning walk. At that time I walked 4 miles a day. A short time into my walk I noticed a little dog following me. She went the whole distance and went home with me. A little later in the morning my wife went out for her 4 mile walk. Guess what, this little doggie went with her too, the whole distance. My wife gave her a hotdog, and she has been with us ever since. We tried to find the owners, with a ad in the newspaper and calls to all the vets, but to no avail. Their "loss" was our gain and our blessing. Shadow has been a wonderful and loving dog. She is so wonderful with children, too!

Bio:
We never found out Shadow's true history. The vet tells us she is likely a terrier mix. In one of the pictures below, you will see her with her summer haircut. She looks like a different dog. The first time we had her "trimmed" and they brought her out to me, I thought they had brought the wrong dog! Ha! Well, her personality does change a little bit after her haircut. Maybe she's embarrassed?
