Arrival Story:
Sophie was at a local animal shelter and her adoption date had passed. I pulled her for a rescue group [LhasaHappyHomes.org] where I was volunteering at the time. Since we didn't have an available foster home for her, she ended up at my house. It was supposed to be temporary, but it didn't take long for us to realize she had found her forever home. The bottom picture is Sophie at the shelter: one filthy, matted mess of a dog.

Bio:
Sophie passed away in early February 2005. I wish she had been with us a little longer than she was, but I know she had a great life with us and got to eat a lot of yummy food. I am so happy we were able to have her for the short time we did. We love you and miss you so much, Sophie.
