Arrival Story:
I lost my beloved Greyhound on 9-13-01. I was heartbroken and shellshocked. It was so hard to accept so quickly right after the 9-11 attacks. A co -worker at work found out that Shaianne passed away and her Golden retriever had sired a litter of Golden puppies with a friend's Golden. They were getting pick of the litter and she offered the puppy to me. I even let her pick her out b/c I was working the nite that had to do it. Keegan Grace came into my life at 6 weeks and for the longest time I didn't think we bonded b/c she just didn't act like it. She was rather aloof with me. Then I took her to a dog park - scared to death thinking I would never catch her even in the fence - and she never left my side and then I knew that she was MY dog. Our relationship changed from that day on and she is my heart and soul and my baby.

Keegan lives with 2 kitties that she adores even tho they DON'T adore each other.

I have an online friend with 3 dogs. A golden, greyhound mix and a lab mix. The youngest one is the lab mix, named Raven and she is only about 6-8 months old and has been recently diagnosed with squamous cell cancer of the mouth. She is going to need Surgery and probably radiation.
I would just like to ask (beg??) for prayers for her and Raven. She is going thru a divorce as well and didn't need this setback..
