Up early, strongly nudge guardian at 4 a.m. to see if breakfast is a possibility. Nudge elicits groan, so back off. 4:05 a.m. try gentler approach, lick guardian on face affectionately to see if early breakfast is a possibility. Get another groan so back off. 4:10 a.m. breathe deep warm breaths onto guardian's nose and eyelashes. Who knows, an early breakfast might still be a possibility.
