HOT SUMMER!

Too bad I dislike water! I should be lounging in a pool with all the hot weather here in blistering Southern California. There was a nice morning rain shower yesterday. I was thrilled that it cooled down, but it was WET outside! My paws were so dirty! I tracked it in the house! EW!

Blondie and I are cool these days. We hang out all day in the dog run. He won't use the dog house though, I mean it is more a people house, but he rather dig in the dirt and lay in the holes he makes. Yuck! Dirt all over you! Poor thing....he should stop complaining about the baths then.....

Hello!

Gone for a while, but I'm back now. A lot has happened. I have been working on my obedience training a lot and Mommy says I'm great except for my barking. I have to work on that since I'm making Mommy cry more now. My barking is hurting her ears. I don't want that! I get sad when Mommy cries!

Blondie and I are getting along more these days. For a while he was taking advantage of my loss of Alpha and picking fights with me. Mommy seperated us and we are slowly getting back into the swing of things. Mommy is working more with Blondie to establish Alpha over him.....he is stubborn!

I just wanted to write something but I don't have anything to say. Gojira won't be graduating obedience class. I passed it with flying colors, what is his problem? Oh, right, he thinks he is a cat and therefore above the rules of the pack. Mommy should put him in his place. Or try harder to do so!

Miss my Blondie!

So, I guess you know that Mommy has been home a lot these past weeks (in Gojira's diary). And that means that she is making me spend more time with her Dad (whom I'm terrified of for reasons only I know). Well, since Blondie has been picking fights with me (like MONTHS ago) we have been working on getting along and the doggy trainer said to do this and that and well, I've been apart from my Blondie for too long. I can't wait until we are playing again. We are both miserable and I know he is sorry for trying to be Alpha when we all know I'M the Alpha. Oh well, at least we are working on getting back to being together again. I really miss him.

Pictures!! NO!!!

I still can't sit still for pictures. Mommy has all these blury pictures of me walking, chewing on my toys, playing with Blondie, or just scouting out the backyard. We went to the park for pictures and I wouldn't behave! So, Mommy will put the pictures up that are decent. I'm just an active dog! I was more into pictures when I was a puppy. I'm a big girl now (just had a birthday)!

It was my birthday last Monday and I got ALL KINDS of presents! We had a party and I hated all the attention so I stuck my Mommy and barked at everyone. Then the cake came out and I was really good after that! he he!

Mommy had FIVE days off!

It was the best weekend EVER. All the naps, the cuddles, the play time, the attention, the treats (well, not any more than usual), and the naps (I think I said that, but it was COOL!). We had no kennels, we had no rules, we had - oh, wait - Yeah, there were rules and there were kennels. Darn, I was dreaming again! Well, Blondie and I got to play outside any time we wanted and then come back in to watch movies with Mommy. I whined when she went back to work today. I miss her....

Things are good again!

I love my life. I have free run of the dog run and when Nana comes home Blondie and I have free run of the whole backyard. We are so tired when Momy gets home that we crash out while watching movies all night. Except when that one cat messes with Blondie, then we chase him around until he gets the picture (Mommy usually makes us sit nicely though). I'm so glad to be out of the collar and on to the fun of being a dog again! Yea!!!!

Great Day?

I got my stitches out today. But I can't enjoy it because I'm under heavy sedation. Anyone will be snippy if they were sick for a month, but this is ridiculous! I need a hug.......

Another bummer night

So, seems that I can't sit still. Mommy was quite concerned that I was oozing red something from my stitches. Yea, part of the wound healed and that is great, but I had to stay in another night at the emergency vet. They did another surgery on me and here we are back at square one. I'm so tired of being sick. I can't do ANYTHING outside but potty. I have another two weeks of this and Mommy is going nuts cleaning and making sure that I'm quiet (impossible I keep telling her!) and resting. She says clean stitches, monitoring, and no fun at all is the way to get better. Well, heck, then was is the point of getting better if when I get sick this happens? How is a puppy supposed to mantain her pack this way? Mommy and I are going to have a talk tomorrow when she rearranges the room for *my* benefit. Really, not necessary, the bed is fine. But she mummbles something about ooze all over her blankets. *Sigh* I just want to be free from the cone of silence.

Are there any *positive* car rides?

Well, I was going well and looking good. I was beginning to steer this radar thing on my head and I was feeling confident about being sick. THEN mommy takes me in the car again and we go to visit the emergency vet place again to remove mydrainage tube. Well, the handsome doctor that fixed me up wasn't there so this grease monkey takes me and mommy isn't allowed to come. Naturally I freak out and I don't want him touching me. So, they have to sedate me. Sure, the tube is out but I'm still leaking and I can't do anything but feel horrible. I pooed myself on the way home and now I'm clinging to mommy like static cling. I love mommy, she cleaned me all up and pampered me all night. Then last niggt she moved my brother Blondie in the room with us and I feel great! He's my buddy and it's easier for me to eat when he is here. He watches my back. :-)

Today we all piled on mommy for naptime and slept wonderfully! Mommy looks better too. She was starting to look sick as well. Worrying about me probably.
