Attacked!!

Today is the middle of the week and mommy didn't go to work. YAY!! She said it was a public holiday - Singapore's National Day. So we spent the whole day hanging out together...juz mommy and me.

When evening came, she decided to bring me out for an extra long walk. Today mommy took us on a different route..when we were nearing a house I could here many dogs barking at me from inside the fence. The owners of the dogs were shouting at them to be quiet. I was pretty scared and stood frozen at the spot. As mommy could see that the dogs were behind the fence she thought it would be alright to just walk pass the gate and continue on. (Little did she know the dogs inside were threatening..."YOU TAKE ANOTHER STEP NEARER AND YOU WILL BE DEAD MEAT!!!"

I tried to tell mom that but she says it alright and pulled on the leash I took one tiny step and then it happened! One of the dogs CLIMBED!! over the fence and came towards me. Mommy in her panic tried to hoist me up by the harness but as I was too scared I wiggled too much and I fell out of the harness. The big black dog came at me!!!!! My mom screamed and I wiggled to set myself free. Thank goodness I managed to do that and I ran off with mommy chasing me.

Mommy forgot all about never to run away from another dog. All she could think of was my safety and she kept screaming at me to stop. It's a good thing that the road we were on is not a busy one. A few cars came by but seeing my frantic mom and me running on the road they slowed down. I almost stopped after a few meters but then this big blue car (a taxi) sounded the horn and I shoot off again.

Mom screamed at me to STOP and this time I did. It's a good thing mommy mananged to calm down this time and she said STAY. I did although I really wanted continue running. Mom came over to me and scooped me up. She inspected me from head to tail and found no injuries. Thank God! Mommy was so afraid of losing me she hugged me tightly and said sorry...sorry for not listening to you earlier. When we got home...mummy gave me extra treats to compensate me for the trauma and promised never to take me on that route anymore. All is forgiven now.

ps...mommy is puzzled to what happened to the big black dog. He didnt seem to have come after us. As far as I'm concerned...I DON'T CARE!!! HORRIBLE DOG!!! Who would have thought a dog can climb a fence.
