My vacation

Last night, uncle wrote a diary entry that took more than a hour, lost the connection and the whole entry, so this will be entered in small bits.
The first weekend of June, my mommy had to make a trip to see her family. There were two birthdays and also their St Bernard bit their small older dog, but it wasn't that bad.
When mommy leaves, I get to stay with uncle. When I have stayed with uncle before, I've gotten a tick, a broken toe and get to eat food that only makes me sick when I go home to mommy. This time turned out better.
My mommy left late in the morning, and uncle picked me up after work. He took me for a short walk, then he went to a hardware store without me. Why can't I go to the stores with him? He brought back a lot of stuff and left it in the garage. Then we went to a park in town. We walked around a lot but it was not that much fun, just tiring. By the time that we drove to uncle's, it was almost dark.
I woke uncle up at 4:30 Saturday morning, I thought than I had to go outside, but I didn't. Uncle went back to bed and I got the couch. Later that morning, uncle put a lot of tools in the truck, and a box that goes in front of the seat so that I have a bigger place to lay down. We went back to mommy's house. I spent most of the day in the front yard while uncle did little fixes to the house. I just watched everthing in the neighborhood and behaved very well.
Later in the afternoon, it got cloudy, and there was a little thunder. Uncle put away his tools, and we went to Asbury park. We went to the big field. We walked the outside path once, then started around the second time. It was starting to sprinkle, but uncle kept going. I wanted to go back, and when more rain came down, we started to walk back, and then run, by the time we were in the truck, it was raining hard.
We went to a drive thru and we each had a cheeseburger and split a fry. I slept all the way back to uncles house, and then I slept from 7 til 6 the next morning.
Sunday morning came too early for me! We got in the truck and went to mommy's. Uncle finished up his projects by noon. We went to a drive thru and we each had two cheeseburgers and fries. I went to sleep and when I woke up, we were in Union City. We went to a tractor dealership owned by someone that uncle used to work with. He wanted me to leave a present right in front of the door, but I didn't have to go! Then we went to find someone with a chocolate lab to play with, but they were not home.
We went to the Union City dry dam.Uncle said that the water was too fast on the downstream side for me to swim, so we walked up the bottom of the other side. It was windy, cold and dark. It was good exercise tho. We left to go back to uncles' house.
Halfway back, the sun came out. We went back to Asbury park. We went straight thru the field, into the woods and down a steep trail. I could hear the water running! The water was clear and warm. We walked right into the middle, some places were deep enough for me to swim. I splashed in the water, and uncle splashed me, too! I had so much fun! This is the best way to take a bath! I was so tired that I didn't fight much when it was time to go. We sat on a platform in the field so that the wind would dry me. As soon as I was in the truck, I went to sleep. I slept good when we got back to uncles, too.
The next morning, uncle dropped me off at mommy's house and mommy came home at noon.
I think that uncle had as much fun as me!
