Good news and bad news...BOL!

Well...

We got some good news and some bad news...BOL!

I am fine, I was just having some really bad cramping or something from coming into heat.

That is the bad news, now Dad can't get me spayed for another month or so... but, we are happy to know that I am OK!

I have to go to the Vet today when Dad gets home... :(

I have been feeling a little off for the last couple days, maybe 3... I very rarely have any health issues, so Dad is a bit concerned now. I am eating and drinking normally, and I am in overall good spirits, but I am not as energenic as I normally am...

The thing that has Dad the most worried is the fact that my furmom passed away when she was just a little over 6 years old of an infection in her intestines, and while Dad knows I am not the same dog, she was my Mommy, so there is a chance something else may be wrong with me. I also just turned 6 years old last month...

I will be going to see the Vet at right around 6:00 tonight, or as soon as Dad can get me there, whichever is first. We will report in either after the appointment, or tomorrow depending on how things go and how late it is when I get back home again.

Wow... Dad can remember the day I was born like it was just yesterday!

I have had a pretty full life up to now too, with all of the traveling to dog shows and everything else I have done so far.

Here's hoping for another 6 that are just as good, if not better and longer!

Little Momma Girl...

Where do I start this tale for you?

I met you the day you were born, along with all 11 of your siblings. That was one of the greatest days of my life, knowing that you would be coming home with me in 2 short months! I came over every day to check on you and play with you so that you would know who your Daddy was going to be once you opened your eyes.

I had intened to get you as a show dog primarily, but you turned out to be soooo much more than that. Infact, you are hardly even a show dog anymore.. you have turned into my little in-house lick machine!!

You came home 4 weeks after my birthday that year, and a little over 3 weeks after I had surgery on my back. So, Miss... you were my inspiration to get my act together and get moving! We took many, many long walks together, exploring the woods across the street and down by the river while I was recooperating from my surgery. We have travelled all over the place going to shows, and everywhere we have gone, you have made friends with the people. Everywhere from New Jersey to Oklahoma, and every place in between. Then the day came that you brought your 4 little babies into the world! My DOG!! Everyone wanted to be there when you had them, but you fooled all of us and started having them in the middle of the night..BOL!! You woke me up, and kept me up until 6 in the morning!

You are so pretty and sweet to everyone that you meet (except your naughty little JRT cousin...BOL, but she started it!!).

We'll probably do one more pull season together, then you'll get to join Dusty and Ziero as the house dogs... I know you aren't enjoying it too much anymore, but we just need to finish what we started, then you'll be all done. I know you can and will do it for me.. that is one of the best things about you, just like the other pups.. you live to make me happy, so.. very soon, you will get to be a happy girl too, and sleep all day on the couch while the little BEAST we call Flash-A-Roo is out competeing...

Bunny Hunting Season is here!

Wooo Hoooo!!

Flash and me caught our first bunnies of the year this morning... BOL!!

Dad was half asleep and not paying close attention, and guess what we got? 2 or 3 baby bunnies!! That was some good grub fellow 4 leggers! I coulda used a cup of coffee or something afterwards though to finish off my breakfast...BOL!

Shhhhhhhh... we're wabbit huntin'!!

Well... as you can see by the bottom picture Dad just added, I am being SQUISHED!

Not only is my kid laying on me, but for some reason Dusty Dog had to follow suit..

All you can see is me peeking over the top of those two oafs!!

I swear.. sometimes men need to think about us little women now and then!!

I also wanted to say thanks to Tucker for makeing the neat picture of me for Dad when he was having trouble getting it to load on here!!

Ok.. off to play in the snow for a while..

Well.... yesterday was a HUGE day! I won The Bachelor!! The competition was tough, but I egded out over Lucky. She did do a greeeeeat job though, and I hope she will be friends with me now that the show is done!

Napoleon has invited me to come visit with him again, this time in San Francisco! It should be lots of fun, as this is another place I have never been before!! First he takes me to Paris, now to SF, it will be great to get away from the boys again for a few days.

Now we can try to be the Dogster couple of the week! I have been trying to get in that competition for a while now and no one every even gave me a bark, but now I have my Napoleon! We can rule the galaxy together...BOL!!
