It's taken me a few months now to be able to write this. My dear sweet Emmy has gone to live with the Angels now. Her S.A.R.D.S. finally got the best of her, and I had to have her put to sleep. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make.
She was my best friend ever. We went through losing my husband, and she got me through that, having breast cancer, living in some hard times, and many more things. But she was always there for me, and she saved my life more than once. You were always the one who got me through the rough, and bad times. Now that you are not here, I'm having a hard time getting through this because you were my strengh.
A part of my heart died the day she did. I will miss her till the day that I die. I hope she knows how special she was to me, and what joy she brought in my life.
I will never forget her, and never stop missing her. I wish everyone could have a dog like Emmy. There is no love greater.
Thank you Emmy for all that you were to me. I'll always love you.
