Arrival Story: During his first year, Fritz traveled from Kentucky to a shelter in Ohio where he was scheduled for euthanasia as he was "deemed" vicious with other dogs. Fritz was rescued by an angel less than 24 hours before his appointed moment and arrived at his foster home in western New York. Having lost a beloved 17 1/2 year old Jack Russell Terrier in January 2005, a heart-broken man discovered Fritz on the Internet and contacted the foster home "Mom". The adoption process followed and Russ was approved to bring Fritz to his "forever home" in New Hampshire on April 14th where he was promptly welcomed into our hearts!!! A 23 hour round-trip drive for Russ, the return drive is now referred to as the "Fritz Road Trip Home" . . .
Bio: Fritz completed Basic Pet Obedience on 6/20/05 and began the Advanced Pet CGC Program the following week. On August 22, 2005, Fritz successfully passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test!!! Mid-October, Fritz completed the "Clicker Unleashed Class" (off lead control) for a total of 21 "known" weeks of obedience training. To maintain "dog socialization", Fritz has attended a "doggie daycare" with 50-60 other dogs and since he is reported to be the perfect little gentleman . . . his "mommy & daddy" will just have to find something else to do several days each month.
