Arrival Story:
I always wanted a dachshund, and my first dog Pansy ran away. The SPCA in FL denied my application because my first dog was an out-of-state adoption, so I got the Superdog from somewhere else. All I did was look at her, and I knew she was mine!

Bio:
As much as it pains me, I realised 6 months after getting her that she was a puppy mill pup. Of course, when I got her I was uninformed and had never even heard the words "puppy mill" or "backyard breeder". I soon found out about them. This only makes me want to love her more though and fight vehemently against puppy mills, backyard breeders, etc.

Tales of a Broken Tail

Oh man! Crummy day! I didn't get any food or water after 10 pm last night to start off with. I was parched by the morning. Meanwhile, the other two dogs got food and water! What's up with that?! Then, I get to go somewhere with Mom. Exciting, right? Sure! Was exciting until she left me at the vet! Now I had to be put under to clean my teeth and trim my gargantuan toenails. GRRRRRR. This is NOT my day! Not my day at all!

On a different note, I don't know that Mom set aside specific funds today to adopt another dog in about a month or two. Woohoo!

Oh let's see here. An update for all our pals. We've been spending a little less time online here because other stuff has taken up the time spent on the 'puter. Like job searches, etc. Ya know, humom stuff. Anyways, here's a cool pupdate! We're moving soon! Maybe into our very own house if Humom can work it out. And that means...

...another dog!!! Mom's got her eye on two dachshunds that are being fostered by people in Mom's animal rescue group. A special needs boy named Larry and a senior gal named Heidi. And a spunky senior chihuahua gal named Karli has peaked her interest. But Mom thinks she'll be adopted more easily than Heidi or Larry. So that's exciting! Also, if we get a house she'll probably take a foster, too. We think that's grand since we'll have a yard and no landladies to answer to. Well, Glady may not think it's that grand since she wants Mom to herself most of the time after spending six years in a home with approximately 20 other dogs. Mom's drawing the line at five though, four permanent and one foster, so everyone will still get lots of attention.

Of course, this is all future plans, so please pups keep us in mind as the humom job search continues. (The three of us spoiled darlings are secretly hoping she gets a pet store job...BOL) We're optimistic despite the economic nonsense all the humans are worried about. :)

We have a computer again at last! Actually, we sorta realized that we were spending too much time online. It took our lack of a computer to realize this. So, we'll be on a little less than we were. However, I for one am so excited to be back and see familiar faces that we'd all wondered about! Reminders that we dogs are top stuff! As it should be, right? BOL! Bow wow and good night to you all!
