I've Been Christmas Tagged!!

It’s a Christmas tag!!! This is what you have to do.

Here are five things I want for Christmas this year:

1. Lots and lots of cow hooves, Mom can be stingy with these at times!

2. More squirrels in the yard to chase.

3. A new, soft, comfy bed that I don't have to share with Little Bit and Hershey.

4. A gift for Little Bit and Hershey - they like treats the most!!!

5. A wish that lots of doggies and kitties get adopted from shelters and rescues in 2008.

So here are 7 fun facts about me...

1. Mom just got me a new backpack. Of course, I'm small so I can't carry much!! Yesterday I had to carry the phone and money at Bark in the Park.
2. I'm eating homecooked now and I LOVE it! I'll never let mom switch back to kibble, bwaahaa.
3. I'm still going to daycare but now my new job is to make sure no one picks on the really small doggies. I decided to take this job on my own, BOL.
4. I'm going to be a devil for Halloween again! Mom isn't very creative but she tells me the outfit fits me sooo much.
5. Mom got a portrait made of me in exchange for dog training. She thinks it is the most beautiful picture she owns!
6. My sister Hershey is getting older and now has continence problems. I feel so sorry for her but she tells me that she is still enjoying life!
7. Mom brought a foster doggie home for the weekend from daycare and he took all my bones and piled them up on his bed. I didn't mind though because I think in his last home he didn't get many bones or much attention. But, he sure loved joining all of us in the bed at night to sleep, BOL!

Finally, I convinced mom to sign up for plus. Now she has to get busy and take lots more pics of us. And she has more forums to read - ooops, that may be a bad thing I will have to drag her off the puter to get her to take me for a walk.

So, do you like my new pic? It was taken at the Camp's beach party. I had a great time and everyone told mom how well behaved I was. Ha, if only they knew, I can be as bad as the next pup. But, I try to be good when mom takes me out around other doggies and people so she will continue to take me with her. I don't like being left at home too much. She saw some doggies at the party with doggles and is talking about getting me some. I don't know about that - I'm not sure I will like wearing them. Oh well, I can always chew them up if I don't like them, mwaahaahaa.

1. I get my way a lot by doing my pretty beg - mom just can't resist me when I do this.

2. I love playing with kitty cats.

3. I like my auntie's rabbit but I can't play with her because she gets too excited when I chase her, mwahaahaa.

4. I hate it when it gets really hot and if mom is walking me I will lay down on the grass to cool off.

5. The neighbor kids call me an army dog because I like to do a low crawl using my front legs to drag my belly and back legs across the ground.

6. Mom puts a spritzer on me to moisturize my fur but I'm not sure I like it.

7. I'm really embarrassed when mom makes me wear my raincoat for a walk. I've even been laughed at!!!

2. I love catching voles and mice and bringing them to mom. She says I'm a better mouser than Asia, the cat.

5. Mom tells me I'm a bad boy when I won't come back to her when I escape. Go figure, I love roaming around the neighborhood saying hi to everyone.

Daycare Update

Boy, am I tired!!!! Going to work with mom wears me out, BOL. It is a good thing we only have to work half a day because I'm not sure I would be able to last for the entire day. As it is now I come home and take a long nap to recuperate from all th at playing!

I interviewed a lot of new doggies this week and had to go to work everyday so I could be used as an interviewer. But, I did make lots of new friends both little and big - even though some of the big doggies play awful rough with me. I just show them my teeth and they usually back off.

I am still escaping from the play area every time I get a chance but the owner told me that I was doing a good job training all the employees on how to keep the dogs from escaping. See, I told mom that it was okay for me to try to escape and now it is my job to do it, BOL.

Doggie Daycare

Well, mom finally started training for her new job at a doggie day care. I went to work with her for 2 days of the training but I'm still not sure if I like it. I spent a lot of time today trying to escape from the play area everytime someone opened the gate!! I don't know why they got upset when I did that - I was just going to see if I could find mom and have her come play with me. She tried to explain to me that the point of doggie daycare is so I can play with all the other doggies but I would rather play with mom!

I did meet Frank, the pug, and although he is a little crazy we had a lot of fun. He is supposed to come back on Monday so I guess I'm going to daycare again to see him. Oh, and these two labs, got into the doggie pool and just went wild and splashed water everywhere. They really liked getting wet and even let their mom spray them with the hose. I don't think I would like that. I also think that Mota, the chow, has a crush on me because she followed me around all day today. I guess she is okay but she sure does sniff me a lot.

I'll keep you updated on my adventures at daycare.

Oops! Caught with the slipper.

Okay, mom had left the house for awhile so I got the slipper out for some play time. But she came home earlier than I expected and found it in the middle of the floor and she grabbed it before I could get to it! Guess that means I will just have to be on the lookout for another shoe she leaves on the floor, BOL. But at least she didn't find my really good hiding spot!

Bad News.

Mom told me yesterday that she would have to go back to work in 2 weeks. What's up with that? She took two months off because she had surgery and I love having her home with me the entire day! For the first two weeks she couldn't walk me but since then we have been taking long walks every day - that's what I will miss the most when she goes back to work.

But last week she brought home a kitty friend for me!!! Asia, is 6 months old, and I love playing with her. Sometimes tho I don't think she likes playing with me. Tough luck, she is the youngest in our animal family and that means she has to play with me.

I really like it that it has gotten colder around here. When the wind blows I go out the doggie door and run around like a crazy mutt, BOL.

Oh yeah, I swiped mommy's slipper the other day and she still hasn't found it! I'm not telling but I will update you if she ever finds it. I must have picked a really good hiding spot this time because it has been 3 days, BOL. I figure she might as well give me the other one for a toy because I don't think she will find it.
