Summer is Here!

Well at the end of June (29th) I celebrate my rightful birthday yearly! Due to Fuji being from a Puppymill and not really having a Birthdate - he gets to enjoy today as "OUR BIRTHDAY" celebration as well. Ah, the more the merrier in this Herd of Terriers that I live with!!

I do hope this year brings great yummies like Pup Cakes or something worth getting googly over like my human-mom's homemade doggie cookies! Although flat and the size of a dime, she always used to insist that only 1 - 3 treats per day is quite enough. Geesh, I am 12 lbs ... like that will add to my waist line? Wonder if it will be greatly different today or if she even made something - it is my (oops!) OUR BIRTHDAY !!!

For some strange reason, that darn Puddles always appears to want to steal the show....her Birthday is NOT until August!! UGH - that pushy female!! Guess I cannot complain as she does place me in a head lock every morning and evening for a kisses session and I snort her away and we play a little chase.

Off to enjoy the cooler indoor tile flooring, while the others sun bathe and lounge.... Ahhhhh, a dogs' life!

Such is life and photos with Santa - Done and over for 2006

Mom clicked on the website www.canadianyorkshireterrierrescue.com and clicked on the Santa Photo Link on the lower left hand side... to bring up a great poster !

Okay, fine...BUT....mom just informed us that 'tis the season to meet Santa. She said she may bringing our Santa hats too. November 18, 2006 at Global Pet Foods in Brampton, Ontario! It's a photoshoot with (or without) Santa for PETS !!!
Mom is calling to book our "special" photo shoot time. She said that her email said that Santa is making his list and checking it twice and I was on it!!

Hey, she mentioned that if we were weary of Santa that MAYBE Santa could take a break and we could do our own thing....if time permits! I hope she doesn't bring what she thinks is my favourite Costume...the yellow raincoat thing is hideous and I do not fit in that Flower Costume! Do I LOOK like a flower?
She is going to call (905) 495-4455 and book our photo session because we all support rescue dogs in need, and especially support Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Rescue...where Fuji and Puddles came from along with many of our friends! I do like that idea...they are my family.

She tells me that the photos do not just include Yorkies...it isn't breed specific the word on the dog-path is ..."so come one, come all !! Spread the word". I think I'll just piddle on the lamp post as I normally do. She also mentioned that if they could not get a time to get our photos THIS time, maybe there was an overwhelming response, and this will entice yet another photo shoot date!!

HEY - never be afraid to try new things? That is what my human grandma and grandpa always said...I bet Tessa isn't being dragged to this photo shoot due to being thousands of miles away.

I may try to write here a little more...ah-hem....okay, try to get my mom or dad to write here...I cannot do it myself as the computer keys do not like my fuzzy paws! When will they develop a computer that I can use?
