Well I finally did it. Last night when mommy came home from work, I was feeling very mouthy. I wanted to nibble everything in sight. So I started nibbling mommy's fingers, arms, legs, shoes (you get the picture). Mommy held my face trying to calm me down, and then I saw them - her bosoms (I'm keeping it PG here). Being a very mouthy Malinois, I lunged. Mommy was quick - but not quick enough - BOL

I was called (gasp) a GOOD girl last night.
When mommy and I were on our evening walk a couple came towards us. Mommy told me to sit and started giving me my cookies. When the couple passed us, the man said I was a good girl, and the lady said I was beautiful.
Beautiful - yes (of course, just LOOK at ME!), but good - I've never been so insulted. I'm naughty. Do you hear me - I'm NAUGHTY, VERY VERY NAUGHTY!
Love,
Hope
PS: I love my COOKIES. Mommy says I'm a BIG COOKIE MONSTER just like my big brother Bubba was.

Mommy submitted my pictures (body and head shots) for an AKC judge to evaluate. This is what she said about ME:
Head Shot:
Not just another pretty face, but one of elegance & intelligence; "Hope" appears alert & ready for anything.
Body Shot:
This Belgian appears well balanced & square; strong & well muscled. Elegant without being bulky, she looks to be in great condition.
I'm so flattered and excited, I could pee right now - BOL.

Hope

Last Friday night mommy got a call saying that there was no group classes on Saturday afternoon - not enough pups. I was so happy that I ran around the house a few times, grabbed mommy's jacket, nibbled her arms and feet, and finally gave her a love bite on her bottom - BOL. Yes, I'm a very naughty girl.
Life is GOOD!
Love,
Hope

This year I got lots of gifts: two over-sized (pink and red) tennis balls (I destroyed the pink one already - BOL), a bag of Large Greenies, a stuffed soft bone toy that squeaks (mommy won't let me play with it, 'cuz she knows that I'll rip it apart), a teddy bear blanket, and mommy took me on an extra walk each day she was off last week. She also let me dig in my favorite place and say hello to my doggie and people friends. I love my mommy.
Mommy also bought two (not one, but TWO) no-pull leashes to keep me from dragging her around the neighborhood.
Oh, I'm also going to go to school (again) this month for 8 weeks. Mommy says I must be a good girl, but I love to be naughty. BOL
Love,
Hope
PS: I gave mommy gifts too - a sprained ankle and black and blue marks. BOL

Mommy tried to put clothes on me this weekend. When she tried to put the hat on, I shook my head until it fell off, then I chewed it, and I flung it across the room.
Then mommy tried to put a (cute) shirt on me, Well I was not having any of that nonsense (dogs were born to be naked - BOL), and I started chewing the shirt before mommy could get it over my head. Finally mommy gave up.
I thought I had it made. My no-pull replacement leash is still not stock in and I can drag mommy where ever I want to. But NO, I heard mommy talking about me going to (obedience) school again next month. I guess I'll have to turn a new group of pups naughty (just like me) - BOL

I had my first taste of kitty doodie this morning during our morning walk. Mommy grabbed the doodie out of my mouth before I could gobble it down, but it was yummy.

Hope
PS: Mommy's not very happy with me.

Yesterday morning when mommy was taking me for my walk, we stopped so I could make my doodie. When mommy was picking it up (on an incline) using a plastic bag, I decided to run from side to side. Well mommy lost her balance and fell into my doodie (BOL). Her pant leg was full of my doodie. She tried to wipe it off while scolding me AND holding the doodie bag (humans and doodie, such a funny combination).
Mommy disposed of my doodie in a trash can and took me home after I made my peepee (cutting our walk short) . Mommy scolded me again, gave me a time out, and had to change her pants so she could go to work. All this over doodie.
Love,
Hope
PS: I hope that my replacement no-pull leash NEVER arrives (BOL).

Thanksgiving morning when I took Hope out for a walk in our neighborhood, she really pulled me (in fact, she broke her leash). I thought she was just up to her naughty tricks. But no, she dragged me to an elderly woman who had fallen between two trash cans.
The elderly woman (her name is Gloria) was awake but confused. There was blood on the road by her head (which was still bleeding). Hope was calm standing by my side, while I yelled for help.
Neighbors came out, two men lifted Gloria up (and out of the street) and one woman had brought out a chair for her to sit on. Another woman had called 911 on her cell.
Gloria's son was not home, so she went outside to throw out some trash. She probably slipped (from the sidewalk to road) when she moved away from her walker to throw the trash away.
Hope and I waited until the paramedics got there. Hope was very calm (with lights and sirens all around us) and was gently kissing Gloria's hands. After I told the paramedics what had happened, Hope and I continued our walk. Gloria spent Thanksgiving in the hospital due to her head injury
Hope is my Hero. I'm blessed to have her in my life. So, this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for Hope.
Have a very blessed Thanksgiving.
Love,
Dee (Hope's proud mom)

Mommy made this past weekend my Birthday weekend. Mommy took me to PetSmart on Saturday. She said I was her first doggie to go to a store with her. Brother Bubba was too territorial and sister Shayna was way too scared. Anyway, I barked all the way to the store because I would rather walk than be in a car.
When we got to the store, I saw a door opening and closing by itself. I only went through the door after I saw another doggie and some people go inside. The place was HUGE. I saw people, children, and doggies.
I pulled mommy everywhere. Finally, I smelled something yummy and dragged mommy to the pig ear and rawhide section. Since I'm on a special diet; I can't have most treats and/or cookies. I get special cookies from my doctor.
Mommy dragged me over to the side of the store, I thought she was going to punish me, but then I saw KITTIES. Mommy said they were fostered kitties and needed forever homes. One big black kitty made a face and hissed when he saw me. But, a little teeny weenie tiny baby boy grey tabby kitty looked at me. I lay down by his cage and our noses touched. We were both very calm. Mommy was feeding me my cookies as we looked at each other. Then he stuck his paw out for me to smell. When I touched it with my nose, it hurt a little bit, and I moved back. Mommy said the kitty needed his nails trimmed. I did not want to look at him after that so I got up and dragged mommy around the store again.
Mommy says we will know when it's time to add a new kitty or puppy to our family. Mommy was also very proud of me, and everyone said that I was very very sweet.
I love you mommy!
Love,
Hope
