I (yes ME) won October's Barney's award. This award means that I'm the naughtiest of the naughty in Dogster's Naughty Pup Club - http://www.dogster.com/group/Naughty_pup_club-1

Tomorrow is my birthday. I will be 4, what a wonderful present - being the naughtiest of the naughty. Mommy says she has lots of suprises for me too. I'm such a lucky girl.

My 2 foot boo boos are healing and look so much better. Also, I finished my antibiotics.

Grandma's still on weekly IV Erbitux for her colon cancer and so far, it's working. Me and mommy are so happy. Mommy is still unemployed, but has more time to spend with me. Yes, I'm a lucky naughty girl!

Mommy needs a good job

Mommy's job got eliminated (after 4.5 years) on July 31st. She's been attached to me like peanut butter on a Kong 24/7. Help - please say a prayer that very (very) soon mommy finds a good and stable job so I can get back to being naughty. Thank You.

Grandma is doing good on her treatments. She had #4 (of 12) on Thursday. So far the side effects have been minor. Please say a prayer that Grandma's cancer goes back into remission. Thank You.

Grandma's Cancer is back - please say a Prayer for her

Grandma had her CT scans done on the 14th of July, and her Oncologist called (last week) to let her know one of her (watched) lymph nodes had grown. He told her that he wanted to try Erbitux. He said it was milder than the other (colon cancer) chemo drugs. She has an appointment to see him today.

Me and mommy are very very sad. I love my grandma so very very much.

G-d bless everyone.

I've Been Love Tagged

My naughty boyfriend Danny (ID # 231146) has Love Tagged me. It's a new Dogster tag game -- "You are Loved"!

You pick three Dogsters that you think are fantastic and tell a little about why! Don't forget to let them know how much they are loved with a p-mail, star or a rosette.

I have so many pals (naughty and good, but mostly naughty), its very hard to choose 'cuz I love them all! Here are my three choices:

1. Coffee (ID # 452267), I love all of her naughties. She has one talented nose. She is also very cute.

2. Fin (ID # 471893), she lives in Germany, and keeps her mommy and daddy on their toes. Also she is a Shepherd (like me). Gotta love our ears.

3. Gunner (ID # 409176 ), he's the cutest boy beagle that I've seen. He's also a naughty boy - a trait that I love. Oh, and soon he will be 1 year old.

My Past Naughties

I have so many - where shall I begin...?

My first naughty was the day that mommy, grandma (then 79.5 years old), and my brother Bubba adopted me. I was finally going to my forever home (home - how I love that word). Mommy was walking Bubba and Grandma was walking me to our car. I was so happy that I jumped on grandma knocking her down. I felt so bad. I then stood on grandma's chest and belly (all 25 pounds of me) and kissed her face.

Other standout naughties include kissing electrical sockets, chewing the cord of an antique floor lamp, chewing the carpet, pulling covers off the sofa and bed then chewing on them. Oh yes, I mustn't forget the time that I ran full speed ahead and body tackled mommy's face when she was picking something up off of the carpet. She bled a lot, needed a tetanus shot, and had a black lip. I also slammed the fridge door closed on mommy's head when she was looking for something to eat.

Then there was the time that I jumped straight up in the air when mommy put the gentle leader on me. Mommy fell and hurt her heel really bad. I've also knocked mommy down many (many) times jumping on her.

In addition, I've pulled mommy and made her trip in my freshly made doodie.

Ah, it's good to be the Queen of Naughty!

Guess what.

I just got an E-Mail from Steven at Dogster HQ. I was selected as one of the 365 Best Supporting Pups Winners from the Paramount Vantage Year of the Dog Photo Contest. I'm number 163. I will be featured on a limited edition Year of the Dog poster. Mommy and me will also be getting a copy of that poster.

I've Been Tagged Thrice

My handsome furfriend Barney (Fin's big brother playing with my big brother Bubba in heaven) tagged me ...

Oh, I was just tagged again by my naughty boyfriend Gunner - BOL

And today (May 24, 2007) Toby, another cute lil naughty boyfriend of mine, tagged me - I'm so flattered.

Here are the rules:

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves.

Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts.

Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names.

Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!

So here are 7 fun facts about ME (yes, it's always about ME):

1. I lived in at least three states (Washington DC, Arizona, and California) before mommy adopted me (at age 5 1/2 months).

2. I am a hero. I saved Gloria's life - Thanksgiving afternoon 2006 (she fell between 2 garbage cans and split open her head) by pulling mommy to her.

3. I will stick my whole face in a water bowl just to get out an ice cube.

4. However, I don't like to be outside when it's raining and I don't like to get a bath.

5. I like to sleep on my back with my legs straight up and my tongue hanging out of the side of my mouth (not very lady-like, I know).

6. When I get excited, my hackles come up. Mommy calls me her lil malisaurus.

7. When mommy first adopted me (I was a lil pup), I liked to lick electrical sockets. I've since (thank Dog) grown out of that habit.

Now I tag...

Naughty Naughty Mommy

Oh, mommy's latest thing is singing songs (that she made up) in public (to me) about how naughty I am.

Her favorites:

Cookies at the Corner

Cookies at the Corner for a good little girl
But if you choose to be naughty, you won't get any at all.

Hope is Naughty

Hope is naughty each and every day,
Hope is naughty in each and every way.
Is she naughty every day?
Yes, she's naughty every day.
Every day?
Yes, every day.

Ohhhh, Hope is naughty each and every day,
Hope is naughty in each and every way.
Is she naughty in every way?
Yes, she's naughty in every way.
Every way?
Yes, every way.

Ohhhh, Hope is naughty each and every day ...

Also. when I'm in the tub (oh how I hate baths), after my relaxing blueberry facial, mommy sings over and over (as she washes me):

"Rubba dubba dub Hope in the tub. Nice warm water put the baby in."

She also sings me silly lullabies and other made-up songs to relax me. And she sings them forever - how embarrassing!

Now if mommy sang well, this would not be so bad, but she sings far worse than any hound when it comes to singing - BOL.

Now, isn't my mommy the naughtiest?

Woofstock 2007

On Saturday mommy took me to Woofstock 2007 in Balboa Park sponsored by Canine Companions for Independence. I was my usual naughty self, pulling mommy here and there. There were so many people, pups, and things to see and smell.

I decided to do the worst naughty possible when mommy was talking to a K-9 policeman. (He had a boy Malinois in his car.) I was well behaved. In fact, he said that I was a very calm Malinois.

Mommy was totally frustrated 'cuz she wanted to ask the policeman how to get me to listen and behave. But, she couldn't, 'cuz I was on my best behavior, and he would have thought mommy was nuts - BOL
