Grr. My grandparents are decreasing my domain. I was master of the kitchen, always there at the sound of a fork ushering the edible rejects into my bowl, always there at the cries of the smoke detectors signaling grandpa's cooking yum yum! (i'm serious. it's good stuff). But alas they have put a baby gate up:( They said it was to keep Toots and me from Leyte who's basically caged up in there to get rest from heartworm treatment. She can't get too excited for the next 2 weeks. I sure miss my kitchen. Don't worry, I keep a watchful eye on things from behind the baby gate--like a hawk.
