I am such a moopies!!

Life is so good to me. For Christmas mom got us pooches snackies from Just Dogs Gourmet and they were divine. We had gingerbread men, peanut butter bones and chicken flavored candy canes. When mom and dad opened their presents I sat on my chair and watched but soon I got bored and fell asleep and that's fine, because I love sleep.

Mom just figured out today that I am almost 8 years old! I have aged so gracefully though you can't even tell. I won't be needing Botox or Colligen injections like those movie star women, ha!!! And after all these years mom and dad still melt when they look into my eyes...

Being a moopies is fun!!

New Friends!

Wow, me and my family Boomer and Snickers have so many new friends! That makes me very happy since I'm all about the friendship and love.

Oliver, your ears are absolutely adorable. My mom told me that you are from Scotland. Wow, that must be lots of fun - do you play the bagpipes?

Hi Gwenevere, you are so pretty and your eyes and huge like mine. Don't you think that being a cocker mix is fun??

Farley, you are such a looker. There is something about those English Setters, I tell you. I think it's all the spots!

I know I have many other new friends and I just wish I could remember their names off the top of my head. If I think hard though it taxes my brain so I try not to do that.

Mom made us home made doggie treats to sell at a church boutique. She calls them "Gingie Bones" and "Cheesie Poochie Smoochies". We dogs got to be taste testers. The smoochies have egg in them which I love and the gingie bones have ginger. We pooches loved them!!!

Chicken, Oh Boy Chicken

Mom gave us some chicken this evening and it was divine! She was cutting it up for dinner and she saw my beautiful big brown eyes and she couldn't resist sharing. Or maybe it was because I was getting in her way? Nah - I'm going with the big brown eyes routine!

Hunkered Down

You know, I love my friend Boomer but lately he's been sleeping up with mom on the couch and that is usually my spot. I was a clever girl last night though and I staked my spot out early and wouldn't let him take it. Ha! When mom laid down I hunkered down right next to her and I was happy.

Thank you for being my pals. Brutus, you are such a handsome boy! Roxie, you look so sweet and kind, and you have a stubby tail like my friend Boomer. Maggie, you look like you are small like me, do you ever worry about being stepped on?

Howling is Fun

I like to howl because my voice is so pretty. I'm not bragging mind you, it's just a matter of fact. I really like to howl when the fire trucks go by and my friends Snickers and Boomer like to join in.

There is a pattern to my howls. First I howl really low and sad like but then my voice gets higher and higher and I end with a pitch so high my mom said that the neighbors on the other street can hear me. Isn't that neat, that they can hear me.

Howling is so much fun!!!
