My Birthday Pawty is only 4 days away!!

hi! It's been awhile since I have written anything. Sorry about that! It has been a BUSY 3 months! Mom and I took a trip to Ohio - - on this thing - it flies in the sky, and we were all in it - like sardines!! And according to Mom, we PAID to be there! Ha! Aren't we the dumb ones. I did not like the "plane", not one bit! Mommy said something about I would like the way home much better - - but I don't know what she meant. I barely remember it. We were in that car we borrowed when we got to Ohio, and the next thing I remember I was riding in Grandma's lap back to her house. It was strange though, I had a bunch of dreams in between that seemed so real! I heard Mom mention something about "doggie valium", not sure what that's all about!

Now on to the good stuff! MY birthday pawty is this Sunday! Yeah! Can't wait to play with all my friends! Our friend Linda is hosting at her house - she has an awesome backyard! Mom says that my good friends will be there and so will some NEW friends. It is very exciting! It is called "Rudy's Splish-Splash 2nd Birthday Pool Pawty & Luau!" - - sounds good huh? I don't know about the pool part, I don't like the pool much. There will also be a kiddie pool, fun games, a raffle with door prizes, goodie bags for all my friends and my favorite...Peanut Butter CAKE! Woo hoo! Can't wait for the cake. Bring on the cake!

Mom says we have to pray for good weather. I guess. She sure does worry a lot.
Thats probably why we aren't sleeping right now! Ha! I'm a genius. Mom said so.

Birthday Party today!

Today was a FANTASTIC day! We slept in as a family (yea! Love the bed!!). And when Mommy and Daddy got up we went to Boca to attend my friends dual birthday party! Fonzie and Ziti had their double birthday party today at a doggie day care center...and it was awesome! Most of my friends were there and I even met some new ones!! There was CAKE from the Three Dog Bakery. - it was yummy! I wish I could have eaten more it was SOOO good. I could have eaten the entire thing myself. I got to play with Stiffler, Mariah, Phil, Dottie, Oliver, Pollyanna, Foxey, Bella, Mea, Rome', Sicily, Samson - and of course the birthday boy and girl Fonzie and Ziti - I met new friends Frankie & Paige... the annoying puppies were there (I don't like annoying puppies. They get in your face and bother you!!). Mommy yells at me to "be nice" whenever I get around puppies. I like to growl at them and let them know who's boss - instead Mommy yells at me and makes me "be nice." I hate that!! But anyhow the puppies Bella, Diva and Targa were there. Mommy and Daddy kept holding the puppies and I was jealous. Anyhow that was a great party - and then I got to see Grandma for a little while. On the way home we stopped at the pet store so Mommy could buy me some food - and I got to see puppies, kittens & Ferrets! Mommy is awfully excited about those ferrets. They look like a fun toy to me! Anyhow, it's late and time to crawl under the covers.

Dog Park Day!

Today was typical. Mommy and Daddy went to work. I hate it when they do that. At least ONE of them should stay home with me at all times. I am their BABY! They say so all the time. You wouldn't leave one of those human babies home alone all day in a crate would you? Jeez. Anyhow. Daddy came home and we went to the DOG PARK! I love the dog park. We go to the Wellington Dog Park. It is really fun!! Sometimes we go and no one else is there and I get to run run run and I have the whole place to myself. But other times lots of frineds are there and we can play and run together!! I love that too. Tonight there was my friend Zeb, he is a baby Border Collie - he is about 10 weeks old and kind of annoying. I had to put him in his place a few times. Daddy says that one day Zeb is going to be A LOT bigger than me and I should take it easy, but whatever... he's an annoying little guy. We came home because it got dark - and then Mommy came home from work late (again) - she's been working a lot of extra hours lately. Mommy watched TV and I slept in her lap and she cheered when this guy she kept calling "The Bachelor" chose the right girl and not the dumb one. Mommy was really excited. I wasn't really watching, I was just enjoying being in my Mommy's lap. She rubs me and scratches me the whole time! She's got nice nails.

Night!

Another boring day!

Well, today wasn't too interesting... Mommy & Daddy went to work and left me home in my crate (or as I like to call it - the TORTURE CHAMBER!). I don't understand why I get locked up and my brother Shorty gets to roam all over the house. We could have such fun together if I got to stay out too. Every now and then Mommy and Daddy will leave the house and let me stay out - like if they are going to the store for a few minutes or something - they think it's funny and call it "free range toot." That's one of my nicknames, "toot". They have A LOT of nicknames for me - most of them are pretty cute and I like them. But Mommy calls me embarrassing names in front of my friends and even in front of strangers sometimes! The other day she called me her "good doodie boy" seven or eight times on our way back from our walk when she was happy that I "did my business." SO MANY PEOPLE HEARD HER! How embarrassing. I don't tell people about her bowel movements. Anyhow, that's all I've got for today. Mommy worked an extra long day today and we are going to go to bed early. Night night for now!

Sad day

Well, this morning started early - Mommy got up at 6am and walked me and fed me breakfast and then she left. Daddy was still in bed, but then he got up... got ready to go to work and then left. Wait...back up... we had 5 deaths in the family today. All but one of the pretty fishies that Daddy bought Mommy for Valentine's Day died. They were all pretty orange. The one that's left doesn't look so good. Mommy is really sad. She said something about going to get the water tested before getting anymore fishies. She looked really upset. The same thing happened with the Angel fish Daddy bought her for Christmas - but that was in a different tank - but the end result was the same. They all died. Anyhow, Daddy left for work around 8:30 and I was really upset. So I peed on the floor. I was in my crate, but I am really crafty and have figured out how to lift my leg and pee outside my crate so that I don't have to sit in my own pee all day. This REALLY upsets Daddy... so when he came home from work sick at 11:30am - he WAS NOT happy with me. That was when he constructed these white walls in my crate to keep me from peeing out. Now if I pee I have to pee inside - which he knows I don't like. We'll have to see how this one plays out... other than that I got to spend the WHOLE day in bed with Daddy... and we all know that the bed is my favorite place to be. Thats the end for today. Today was President's Day

Well - no one went to work today! Yeah! I love it when Mommy and Daddy don't go to work. I wish they would listen to me and just quit those silly "jobs" - I will never understand why we even get out of bed at all - well except to go outside and sniff - amd maybe go to the dog park or the doggie bakery... and to eat. But other than that...why get out of bed? Anyhow, today I got to go to Grandma Trish's house in BOCA and lay in her backyard by the pool (la-dee-da!) in the beautiful sunshine... ahhhh... Mommy and Daddy had a doctor's appt and left me with Grandma while they took care of "adult business" - whatever... I had fun at Grandmas! Daddy is still sick, so when they got done with Mommy's dr visit we drove home and guess what!!! We got back in bed. Woo hoo! I love it. That's all for today. I love the presidents...or at least I love Presidents day... :).

Today was a lazy Sunday...

Not much happened today... Mommy got up and went to work early (like 9am!)... and Daddy and I stayed in bed until 1000. Theen we got up, ate breakfast and then I crawled back into bed. I love the bed. Not my little bed that is on the floor, but the BIG bed. I like to snuggle under the covers. It's nice if Mommy, Daddy or Shorty are there too, but if not I crawl under all by myself and snuggle snuggle! It's warm and cozy like a cave. And sometimes Mommy forgets to turn off her heating pad when she leaves the bed...so I curl up on it - talk about warm yummy comfy goodness!! I LOVE IT!! Anyhow, I stayed in bed until about 3pm when Daddy dragged me outside to try and "do my business"... then we went to my Papa Joe's house to smoke some chicken in his backyard - - or as I like to call it - my own personal dog park. I also get to see my cousin Pinky (a cat) when I go to Papa Joe's. There is another cat there named PK, but she's not friendly AT ALL. She hides when I come to visit, her loss I guess. Pinky and I play and wrestle and chase. But best of all - it is FREE RANGE CAT FOOD TIME! There is a BIG bowl of cat food and treats on the floor and no one can stop me. That's what I ate for dinner tonight, much to Mommy's dismay. Ah well... then Daddy and I came home right before Mommy got home from work - - and then Mommy and I relaxed and watched TV. I guess that's about it for today... not exciting but full of LOVE! :)

Today was Rome's birthday party...

Today was a good day. Neither Mommy or Daddy went to work today! I love it when they don't go to work. I don't really understand WHY they work - it's so much better when they stay home with me ALL DAY! Today Daddy said he didn't feel well so we stayed in bed ALL morning. Mommy took me for a long walk in the sun around 11am and then I had a big breakfast. Mommy makes my breakfast special everyday - she microwaves my food and it's all warm and yummy. I ate it all really fast - but then I threw it all up on the carpet and I was scared Mommy would be mad. But instead she cleaned it up before I could eat it again and cuddled me and kept asking if I felt ok. Then we got back in bed and watched movies with Daddy since he was feeling poopy.
Around 4pm our friend Linda came and picked us up to go to Rome's birthday party... she brought those 2 puppies she got about 7 weeks ago - I don't like them much, although everyone makes a HUGE fuss over them. Karma and Lexi. I guss they're all right - if you like that sort of thing. They'll be cool when they get bigger and stop whining so much. I really like their Mom - she's totally nice. The party was fun - all my friends were there. Ziti, Fonzi, Jack, Oliver, - the girls - Sicily, Mea and of course the birthday girl Rome'! Layla and Bix - they were new... there were so many fun friends! And there was birthday cake from Star Barks!! I love the cake. Love the cake!! LOVE THE CAKE! YUM!! Jack and I played the whole party - we had fun - although I got a little tired near the end and I slept most of the way home.

We got home and Mommy made me dinner - I ate it all and then I went and took a nap on Mommy's heating pad while she and Daddy were on their computers... I heard Mom say something about going to work tomorrow - - I hope she was kidding...
