Quitting a bad habit!

Mom said that I've had a problem ever since I was a little puppy. I'm very cute... and cuddly but today is the day I am taking a step to a sober free life. "My name is Mimi... and I am a poo-eater".

It all began because I wasn't cared for well as a puppy until my mommy rescued me. I used to eat my poop as a baby. I was forced to go cold turkey when the vet gave mommy pills that made my poo taste bad. I learned that I wasn't supposed to eat my poo. I have been sober for 3 1/2 years now... until recently... I have relapsed!

Mommy was wondering why I was hovering by the pee wee pads... My little sis Chloe goes number 2 on the pee wee pads... She's the yorkie. I've been stalking the pee wee pads around the time Chloe usually goes poo so that I can have a little snack while mommy didn't look.

I got caught today. Mom shrilled out a "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" and I stepped away from the poo with a sad look of guilt on my face. I got my teeth and my mouth washed out with doggie toothpaste and mouthrise. It smells minty fresh.

Well, mommy is going to go back to the vet and get more pills... this time for Chloe... and she is changing our food schedules so that she will be home when everyone... has to go poo. So that all of us will go no 2 outside. No more poo eating!!! It really grossed out mama and dada.

Mr. Ben (The Big Giagantic Dog)

Sunday, December 12th. We went to go see Ben. I'm not as afraid as I used to be but it's getting better. I didn't bark at ben this time but I did run upstairs to Big Bird's room and said "RooRoooRoooRoooooo"... That means, Big Bird! I'm back... Big Bird is Matt's conure. He's not too friendly except with Matt and his father. Mimi and Big Bird go into matches as to who can be more LOUDER. Big Bird usually wins but not without a fight from Mimi... She loves sneaking up there and telling Big Bird off. It's a circus.

Rendezvous with Hans

Today, on my morning walk with mommy, I meet a fantastic Shih Tzu in the neighborhood. At first, I barked and barked but when he came to say hello~ I started wagging my tail and we sniffed each other and did the "Shih Tzu" dance. I found him very handsome. Mommy thinks that I recognize other ShihTzu and get extra excited when I meet them. I'm cautious but loving once I know I'm not threatened.

Lazy Halloween

This past week was a typical week. Mommy got me Garfield the Movie and I loved it. I thought Odie was so cute. Even though I am territorial and I bark at other dogs. Not because I dislike them... Once I meet my fellow doggie buddies, I am ok. I have issues if they are bigger than me because a bad rottie attacked me when I was 16 weeks old. He shook me like a ragdoll and my mommy cried for days b/c I had to go to the hospital. I am weary of pushy dogs that are bigger than me.

Anyhow, I think with my pink hair I steal the attention from anywhere I go. I love the attention.
