Rosie passed away on February 22, 2009

It was a very hard 2 weeks. She quit eating for no reason. She was old so we thought she was just tired of her food. Just like we humans get when we get old. She still loved frozen bagels so she lived the last weeks of her life on them. She was happy when she got them, still begged for them but sometimes was not able to eat them.

The best Doctors at A&M could not help her and believe me they tried everything but in the end, Rosie just was too weak. We took pictures when we took her up there for what we thought might be the last time. She could barely walk but when I pulled out the camera, she perked up to be seen in the pictures. Forever our little trooper. Never complaining about all the picture taking, not always cooperating but always happy.

We miss her dearly but know that she is not hurting any longer. Her spirit is with us. She did what she was placed on this earth to do. She was loyal, trustworthy, genuine, loving and forever guarded her home.
