Just a Scratch

Mom Dad and I had quite a night last night. Dad brought me outside on the leash, and when we came back in, my ear was bleeding. Dad thinks I must have scraped it on the doorjamb when we came back in the house or something. He was with me outside the whole time, so he knows I didn't get into anything. Anyway, you all know that ears bleed....a LOT. So mom and dad spent almost an hour trying to stop the bleeding and such. Every time it stopped, I'd shake my head and it would start all over again (not to mention spatter the carpet, tile, walls, door, AND mom and dad's clothing). Then dad gave me a bath to wash all the blood off my fur. It started a tiny bit this morning before mom left for work, but only when I shook my head. *sigh* What a night!

Back to the Kitchen...

I got in BIG trouble today... and Mommy is mad at me .

She let me stay out in the house yesterday while she was at work instead of using the baby gate to keep me in the kitchen. It was sort of a trial run, and I did really good! Well, I chewed the plastic tip off mom's letter opener, dragged daddy's left shoe into the living room, dragged mommy's left shoe into the living room, pulled a Christmas decoration that never got put away off the table, and knocked a box and coaster off the table. And I dragged my bed from the kitchen into the living room. Mom used a hamper to block off the bedroom, and there is a gap in the back, and it was filled high enough that I could reach the clothes, so I stole of pair of undies and brought them down to the couch. But other than that, I did really good! So she let me stay out again today. But today I didn't do so good... Umm... I sorta ate her i-Dog... I chewed up his paws really good, and chewed up his tail, and chewed off one of his ears... It still works, but it looks terrible. Mom had thought about moving it, but she didn't bother because I've never really paid attention to it before. I have NEVER tried it eat it...I usually ignore it even while it's turned on. But...I got bored. I also chewed up a spool of thread and a container of sewing needles, and I brought several shoes into the living and put mom's dirty dog park gym shoe on the couch. Mom says I blew my chance and will be locked in the kitchen again tomorrow.

4: Mom uses a babygate to keep me in the kitchen during the day while she is at work.

Avery and I met in the Plus forums, and sometimes I stalk him as he bounces around the forums, BOL He likes chicken and has a very yummy-looking hat, which he was nice enough to share with my Uncle Rudy. Avery is cute and funny, and he is very sweet and generous.

This time I was tagged by my Chicagoan pal Clover. Clover is one of the most beautiful pups I have ever seen. Her coloring and markings are just stunning. She was a Katrina rescue, and I'm so glad she found such a wonderful new home.

1) My first tag is my tankini twin, Lucy. Lucy is Max's little sister, and she is just as much as a troublemaker as I am--if not more!! Lucy's antics always make me laugh, and they also make me not look quite as bad in mom's eyes, BOL. Despite being a "bad girl," Lucy is sweet, generous and kind, and I'm so lucky to have her as a friend.

2) I'm cheating a bit for my second pick because I am picking Sammi AND Berry. They are both such creative, wonderful and generous pups, and they can always make me laugh. They love to help others and spread their love to all pups on Dogster. And, once again, OMD can they make me laugh!!

3) My third "taggee" is Kingstars Louie. Louie is always on top of everything that is going on with his pals. He is often the first to remember birthdays, the first to notice neat things on the homepage, and the first to tell you how much he loves your new picture or video or diaty entry. He's just such an observant pup and does so much to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

As the title of this entry states, I was tagged by my pal Onyx. Onyx and I really became pals down in the Silly Forum, and our friendship has really grown. He's one of my best pals on Dogster, and I even wrote a poem about him. Our moms also decided that someday they will switch places for a week so my mom can see Onyx and his mom can see me, BOL. Unfortunately, that won't help out me and Onyx cuz we still couldn't see each other, so we'll have to work something else out, BOL.

Okay, here are my three "taggees":

1) Maximus -- Max is another pup who I met in the Silly Forum. On July 1, during my quest for the Tri-Whizzer Cup, I admitted to Max that I have a crush on him. What a surprise it was to find out that he likes me, too!! Max is one of the pups on Dogster who can always make me smile and laugh, and he makes me feel like the most beautiful pup in the world.

2) Sammy -- Sammy and I have bounced around the forums together for quite some time. We are good pals, and we even had a puppy together a while back. Sammy is very creative and talented and can always lighten the mood and make everypup laugh.

3) Postal -- Postal is one of my newer pals on Dogster. We met in Plus Fun several weeks ago, and I've barely stopped laughing since! Between Postal's obsession with Red Bull and his tendency to be a touch dramatic at times lies a heart of gold and a commitment to helping others. I look forward to a long and lasting friendship with him.
