Did you say walk?!?!? Let's go, Let's go, Let's go, Let's go!!!!!!

Best Tricks:
Sit, stay, down, occasionally come when called, high five, shake. He will hold a cookie on his paw while in a down and won't touch it until you say "okay". Ring a bell to go outside, and ring it repeatedly if you don't react fast enough.

Arrival Story:
Seamus and his littermates were born in a shelter in Bulitt County, Kentucky. They were scheduled to be put to sleep when they were rescued. We adopted him from his foster mom when he was five months old.

Seamus has been a wonderful addition to our family which include two rescue cats, only one who tolerates the dog. Seamus does not understand that at 75 pounds he is not a lap dog and will sit in your lap if you sit on the floor, the vet found this out at his last visit. His other favorite game is climbing into the recliner with my husband. Seamus has Epilepsy, but this hasn't slowed him down or dampened his wonderful spirit. We call him Wookie Dog because he "talks" a lot when he is excited and he sounds like Chewbacca from Star Wars. He has an amazing vocal range, which he likes to display at 6 am every morning. He also lets us know when we are boring him and it's time to take him for a walk.

Sophie Bean tagged me for this fun summer game, so here it goes

1. Do you ever wake your parent up in the night? I have done this several times, usually when I am sick.

2. Do you ever tear up things? No

3. What is your favorite treat? That is so hard to say, I like so many treats... peanut butter, bananas, bacon...

4. Can you fetch something when asked to do so? Not usually no.. BOL

5. Have you ever lived any place other than where you live now? yes, I lived in a shelter in Kentucky and then with my foster mom.

Now I have to tag 5 friends:

Is it wrong to be a Momma's boy?

Mommy and daddy are laughing at me.. since I hurt my back again I have not been able to go on my regular walks with mommy. Well this morning she put on her sweats, shoes and walked out the door without me!! Can you beleive that?!?!? So I let daddy know how upset I was by whining, and moaning and barking until she returned. When she walked in the door I rushed up to meet her, wagging my tail and telling her how much I misssed her. Daddy laughingly told her how I acted the entire time she was gone. Mommy said she had just gone up the street to something called a 'practor (I have no idea what that is) and she didn't go for a walk. She also said I was a big boy and shouldn't be having temper tantrums.

Is it wrong to miss my mommy when she goes out without me?!?!? Even the neighbor called me a Momma's Boy. Well I for one think being a Momma's Boy is a good thing!

The first thing I remember was being in jail, but I have no idea how I got there as I was only one day old. A guardian angel came and rescued us from jail and took us to a house filled with other doggies! My brothers and sisters and I got to play all day long. My brothers and sisters started leaving and I didn't understand why... but then one day my foster mommy took us outside and there were these two people standing there...My foster mommy told me if I was extra these people might want to take me home with them. I ran up to the man and gave him my best big brown eyes! The woman sat on the ground and I ran up and sat in her lap...I knew I had her with that one. They smelled really good and I had fun playing with them.

Foster mommy took me over to their house for a sleepover and they loved me so much (how couldn't they) and I have been here ever since... they are the bestest mommy and daddy ever! I have a big crate filled with soft blankies, a big bed in the living room and a bucket FULL of toys. I have a kitty big sister and a kitty little brother, my little brother loves to play with me. Mommy takes me everywhere with her, our favorite place to go is the Nature Center.

I started having seizures when I was about 1 1/2 years old and mommy and daddy were very worried about me. Many trips to the vet later and my seizures are under control. I've had several health issues since then and mommy and daddy have takent the best care of me, they even do without going on vacation so they can pay my vet bills (the vet techs call me Mommy's Little Money Pit) I am so worth it! I am a happy go lucky guy with the bestest parents in the whole wide world.
