I decided that I'm the princess now. You hear me? PRINCESS. So love me, spoil me, and don't ignore me.

Okay. Now that we have that clear, let me get back to the puppy news I know you're dying to hear.

Well, I'm almost a year old. My birthday is at the end of July. Mommy wasn't sure about having 2 huge dogs around anymore since we're really hyper sometimes. I heard this and decided it was time to clean up my act - well, at least when she can see me. Chewing shoes and furniture doesn't have the same appeal anymore anyway. I am trying my best to keep my potty outside. Well, at least this week I've been all right with that. I'm trying to be nice to the kids, even though Talia likes to lay on me with all her weight and it really hurts. I really want to growl at her, but I know I'll get in trouble.

I really need to go to the vet for a checkup. I can't believe I'm saying that, but I do.

Heeey, guess what guys? I think I'm doing better and mommy may not have to find me a new home. I know sit, shake, lay, and other random tricks and I know how to get Mommy when I have to pee, so no more accidents. Well, almost. When Daddy gets home I get excited sometimes I have an accident on the floor, but I mean well.

I'm blowing my winter coat which means lots of fun getting hair all over the house so Mommy has to sweep and vacuum lots. Plus, I'm still digging as well as ever and find it fun to clean my paws off all over the place. Mommy is still scraping a layer of dirt that has accumulated about the house since the baby came home.

Speaking of the baby. She loves me! She adores me and laughs happily whenever I come around. Yay! Just another excuse to go lay by everyone and be social while big brother does his couch thing.

All right, ever since I've gotten here I ate/destroyed/got dirty (Yes I keep tabs on this! It's like brownie points, the more I get the more puppylicious badges I get!):

I had to go to the dog doctor today because I kept pooping out liquid and blood and generally felt really yucky! I have some bacterial infection and have to take medicine for it for 10 days. Then I get to get my rabies shot and get.. spayed? What's that? Right now I'm laying by mommy and the new baby. I've been a good girl and been really nice to the baby. She smells neat. Big brother bounces all around her. The vet says I'm only 55 pounds and I might only be 70 when I'm a big girl. I'm really a small malamute, but that's okay because I'm really cuddly. I just have to stop eating the plaster off the walls. Yeah, that's it!

I'm a bad, bad girl. 'Least that's what Mommy says. I'm still not completely potty trained. Kinda close, but I'm still going on the carpet. Oops. Sorry! Mommy is pretty mad at me and keeps saying she's going to make me into whatever a handbag is. Doesn't sound pleasant. I think I'll try to be good now minus the chewing on stuff and digging, but those things are elementary, aren't they?

Uh oh. My mouth got ahead of my brain.. again. Well, see, there was this chewy couch that Copper kept laying on. I wanted up but couldn't reach, so I jumped up.. grabbed on and TADAA!! pulled off a piece of couch. It was SO yummy, but I waited a few days to eat some more. It made Mommy and Daddy really mad.

Then this morning Mommy found out I ate her flip flop. I hear this is a normal thing since big brother ate like 3 pairs of hers. Tasty!

I think I'm making Mommy mad. She's really grumpy lately anyway.. saying something about a baby coming and how I'm not going to get to be the baby anymore. See, I think she believed I was finally potty trained.. well, until she stepped into a nice wet puddle in her bedroom this morning. I guess I'm not too sure how to tell her I have to go yet.. I don't mean to be so bad, I just like drinking tons of water and it makes me go pee.

I was diagnosed with bordatella a week or two ago, put on antibiotics, and I feel much better now! I'm behind on my shots now though, which bugs me not at all because needles hurt.

Well, I went to the vet again, but not for my shots! I was sick. Actually they say I have this thing called bordatella. Mommy took me because I kept having wet stinky poo, was coughing, and needed to blow my nose a lot. I have some medicine that mommy wraps in cheese so I'll eat it and I should be better soon!

I weigh 21 pounds and am still the smallest puppy. The vet person says I'll be 90-110 pounds. I can really take over things then, right?

And they say I'm the runt, eh?

Dear Diary,

Today I went in the car with Mommy and Tal and saw my brother, Howler, and my sister, Sasha. I also saw my doggy mom and dad, which made me pee in fear. They're SO big! Then I got taken to the vet and they petted me and gave me love and treats and medicine. They weighed me: I'm 16 pounds, 4 ounces. Only a little bigger and I can TAKE OVER THE WORLD! Haha!

When I got home I was really hot and pooped, so I ate a big bowl of food, drank a gallon of water, and passed out on the floor for awhile.

Hiyas, my name is Nova. I just left my brothers and sisters to go bask in the luxury of a home.. all mine! Well.. no. I have to share it with this other dog, Copper. He is REALLY big and can put my entire head into his mouth with no problem. He's nice though and we play all day, well, except when he goes to lay on the couch. I then go sulk over by the door since I can't reach him.

My new mommy has a problem with me going potty everywhere. I can't hold it forever, you know! The carpet is soft.. I think its a good place to empty out my bladder. Outside is fun, too, though!

Copper and I got a whole bunch of new toys, but I think he's enjoying them more than I am. To be honest, I think I miss my littermates. 6 other siblings proved to be an adventure, for sure.
