Baxter's birthday has been and always will be a very special occasion as we enjoy every minute awake enjoying each others company. At 5:00 A.M. is wake up time as Baxter and I went on a short walk stretching out and empty the necessary bodily functions. Reaching the driveway the morning paper was already delivered, I try to teach Baxter the trick of fetching the newspaper, I think Baxter may be to small or stubborn to bring the newspaper to the door. A fresh big bowl of water for Baxter, he will need to wash down the morning snacks of milk bones, Dragonnetts and snausages. Baxter will wait as I get showered up before our stops one at the city leash free dog park and Gammies house in Oceanside. His favorite thing to do is a car ride anywhere so fresh air and objects of trees, cars and people are seen going by. After a short ride the city dog park is recently new, fully fenced with benches, water stations, poop bag dispenser, grass and shade measuring 60 X 60 feet. Both large dogs and small dogs are together at this location, I prefer to be seperated as the larger dogs are more aggressive with owners less likely to be on there toes avoiding any scraps. As Baxter ran from dog to dog intoducing himself and sharing his story, he would continue this with every new dog that came in. Baxter is a joy to be with where ever we might be as he opens his heart for all to see. I think every day is Baxter's birthday.
I found her diary underneath a tree.
And started reading about me
The words she’s written took me by surprise
You’d never read them in her eyes.
They said that she had found the love she waited for.
Wouldn’t you know it, she wouldn’t show it.
When she confronted with the writing there,
Simply pretended not to care.
I passed it off as just in keeping with
Her total disconcerting air
And though she tried to hide
The love that she denied,
Wouldn’t you know it, she wouldn’t show it.
And as I go through my life, I will give to her my wife
All the sweet things that I can find.
I found her diary underneath a tree.
And started reading about me.
The words began stick and tears to flow.
Her meaning now was clear to see.
The love she’d waited for was someone else not me
Wouldn’t you know it, she wouldn’t show it.
And as I go through my life, I will wish for her his wife.
All the sweet things that she can find.
All the sweet things they can find.
The San Diego County French Bulldog June 9th 2007 Meet-up.
Baxter can hardly control himself awaiting the upcoming June 9th French Bulldog Meet-up at Coronado State Dog Beach. A groups favorite meet-up destination and just down the beach from Hotel Del Coronado, It is spectacular. So far there are 25 '"Yes" R.S.V.P. which is great this early, hopefully we will get 10 - 15 more members to attend. Tonight we will send out some reminder e-mails to members. On June 9th was the big day to play with my friends that are in the San Diego County French Bulldog Meet-up, at my second favorite dog beach ( Ocean Beach is my favorite one to go too). The day was a little overcast but that is okay for my friends and myself , that means that we can run a lot longer and not get tired out so fast ( We hate hot days we over heated too fast so the cooler the better i say). There was a lots of my friends that showed up for the fun in the water and sand, they were Capone, Stoney, Molly, Julez, Benjamin and his big brother, Newman, and some new dogs that just joined that i can't remeber there names because i was to busy playing with all the dogs that were there and in the water. We were there for two hours and on the way home i fell a sleep, When we got home my mommie give me a bath in the shower( i don't like taking a bath in the shower) but it was a warm bath( not a cold one from the outside hose) to get the sand and salt water off of me, after that i got blow dryed off, and then got on the bed and sleeped the rest of the day. Can't wait to go to next meeting on June 23 rd.Were going to local dog park in Oceanside. I'll let you all know how that one goes too. Baxter.
