The Life and Times of Edgar the Doxie

Edgar is still out there, without his mom...

First of all, I want to thank everyone for their support over this past week and a half. It's been a very difficult time for me, but knowing there are good people out there that are looking out for my little guy helps tremendously.

It's been 11 days since Edgar was taken from my home; Every day since then I have taken a different side street to work, just hoping to see him scampering around someone's yard. I almost drove off of the road when I saw a woman walking her 2 mini-dachshunds in the park on Halloween. But her little guys were smooth coats and Eggie is of the long-haired variety.

I've checked the kennels of newly surrendered animals at the local humane societies, hoping that I will see his silly wall-eyes staring up at me with his tail wagging at warp speed. But the sweet little eyes that I've seen so far have not been his.

When I checked with the Brooklyn Center PD last Wednesday to see if there had been any updates, they had yet to enter my case into their system. The girl said "try back in the middle of next week." So I will try checking again to see if maybe they have any news on the people that took my baby.

Thank you again for your support and please continue to help me get the word out about Edgar so he can be returned home, where his favorite toy is waiting for him, exactly where he left it that fateful Thursday morning.
