What the Dog?!?!

Seems they've had enough with my barking. Now when stray leaf blows in the yard (or I see a squirrel, neighbor, or ghost) and I lose my ever lovin mind, I get squirted with a water bottle!!!!

is that about? Mom claims to be tired of being scared out of her skin by my sudden, panic-stricken, violent barks. Whatever. I'm an angry Dober....

Pumpkin

Word on the street is that some canned pumpkin will put a stop to the nasty gasses that eek out of my butt. My very good pal Ella swears by it. So I'm wondering how long will it take? Any thoughts?

Rain

I like rain, yet hate it all at the same time.

I know, I'm a large imposing kind of dog. Some even call me a "bully breed". However, I hate going out in the rain. Hate wet feet. Hate to go into the yard to pee. On a rainy day, I'll do my business on the front porch (it's covered and dry) So really, as big as I am, in reality I am a delicate flower of a dog.

On the good side, rain means snuggles!! I play the poor pitiful wet, cold dog routine and get right up on the couch to warm up. Also when it rains the peeps tend to sleep later. More Morning Cuddle time!!

Today, Mom is home sick. And it's rainy. She won't let me out a lot since she doesn't want to get off the couch. And she needs me tend to her needs. Which means nobody is gettin off the couch today. WAHOO!!!

Bed

Mom got me a new bed. She claims it's new anyway. It has some other dogs' names on it. Right there in the corner, it says "Boots and Barkley" Who the woof are they? She says it's the brand name from Target. I have my doubts......Hand-me-down or not, the bed is quite cozy!

My old bed stayed at Baby Daddy's from when I went to stay there last month. Walter the Weiner Dog enjoyed it so much I let him keep it. I hear he spends most of his time on that bed.

Jarvis Day!!

I went to the Dog Spa for a day of beauty (bath and a pedicure) Then shopping at Petsmart. Then home to treats, heartworm pill (in some cheese!) and flea treatment. I'm getting a bully spring soon. Yay me!!!

Dinner

Last night I had a "blessing". Yes friends a blessing in the form of baked chicken and homemade bread.....

I ate the chicken so fast Mom's not sure how I even tasted it. Let me tell ya, it was nummers!!!! Then a got a hunk of bread and butter. Honestly, the bread wasn't so good. Mom may make croutons out of it. Maybe she'll figure out that Bread Machine and hook us up with a nice sourdough......

Partay......

I have discovered that I am indeed a Party Dawg!!! Picture it. Block party. Our hood. Maddox the Boxer. Lucky the Mutt. Blaze the Golden Retriever. and me.......

Sure the shingdig was meant for my family and the other neighbors. But, Mom leashed me up and brought me over. I was the best behaved boy evah!! I had two burgers!! And some Rice Krispie Treats. I ran and played and sniffed butts and played frisbee. I got pettins and lovins.....

A good time was had by all!!

Home

Mom and Dad are back!!! We're all home. Safe, sound, and tired. Can you believe they went all the way to Disney and brought me nothing?!

Pluto would be very disappointed.....
