(by Daddy and Sabrina)

Mommy and Ollie were at work for a long time yesterday, so I was at home with Daddy. He got ready to go out, and usually that means he's going to get Mommy and my brother. I expected to go in my crate, but then Daddy got out his treat pouch and my leash, and I got sooo excited! I just knew I would get to go meet my brother!

I had trouble staying with Daddy on the walk, because I could only concentrate on looking for Ollie. I didn't do too badly, though. I wasn't worried about any barking dogs along the way, because the only dog I was thinking about was Ollie! I've gone to the BART station before to meet people, and we were walking that way, so I assumed we were going there to pick up Mommy and Ollie. But we stopped at the post office so Daddy could mail something, then we turned around. I was confused!

We stopped at the bank so Daddy could make a deposit, and we just kept heading back home. I was looking in every direction, but no Ollie.

When we made a slight turn off the usual path toward home, I got excited again. We were heading to Pastime Hardware! I love it there, because everyone there loves me, but more importantly, I've been there with Mommy and Ollie! I was sure we'd see them inside.

Seems like we walked around the whole store, but I didn't smell them, so I started to lose hope. I usually love attention, but I mostly ignored people saying hi and petting me. Once we got to the checkout, I started looking out the big windows, but no Ollie. We walked outside, but no Ollie. We headed home, but no Ollie.

Daddy thought I'd get out any excess energy on our walk, but all that looking out for Ollie got me really worked up! When Ollie and Mommy finally got home twenty minutes later, I play-attacked Ollie and got the zoomies. Fortunately, all that running around in the yard finally wore me out. I took some long naps in Daddy's lap. Maybe one day I'll learn to enjoy my walks more, instead of being wrapped up in looking for Ollie. Until then, if you see me out with my Daddy, please let me know where my brother is when you're done petting me!
