As time goes on, I get more and more attached to my daddy. I still love my mom a lot, but daddy is really my favorite now! I prefer to sit on daddy's lap, I follow daddy everywhere (even into the kitchen with it's slippery floors), and I am always wanting to kiss and snuggle with daddy. When I am home with just mom and Ollie, I generally lay on the floor or in the bedroom, waiting for my daddy to come home (when I'm not wrestling Ollie, that is). When daddy comes home, suddenly I have all this energy to follow him and sit next to him all the time. It is nice having my own human that is all mine! I don't share daddy with anyone- well, except for mom, but she doesn't count because she is a furless human.

It makes me feel better if I have one person who is my primary person for everything I need. Mom knows that about me, so that is why she has worked hard to switch me over to being a daddy's girl! I don't think all doggies need to do this when they retire, only ones that are really attached to only one person and don't like to share!
