Today was nearly a perfect day. Mom was feeling ill both physically and mentally, so we just all stayed home and hung out in the yard. Mom and dad did a little bit of laundry, and dad was puttering around in the garden while mom read a book in the sun. I enjoyed relaxing and sunning myself, too! It was the best kind of lazy, sunny, and relaxing day for me-- now that Ollie is around, I can lay off my alerting duties somewhat and let him take over.
So the day was going perfectly until this insect came and started buzzing around. I like to catch insects for fun sometimes, so I waited until the perfect opportunity-- and I pounced! All the sudden my mouth hurt a LOT! Ouch ouch OUCH! I spat the bug out, and dad came over and saw it was a wasp! I was very sad about it and hid underneath the bench mom was sitting on for a while.
Silly wasp, ruining my perfect day! Luckily I am feeling lots better now, and am playing with Ollie and having a good time.

You are my hero :o) Tippy and I like to do that too. We are lucky that we never catch a wasp ! It must hurt A LOT...

We are still in the same place, and hoping we don't have to move! Our landlord is trying to get refinancing under the new Obama plan so hopefully he doesn't end up foreclosing after all.
