Visitors in the house

Yesterday Ollie went to play with Josephine and Jolanda. When they got back to our house, I got in my crate as usual. Normally I stay in my crate and Josephine and Jolanda stay in the yard with the screen door open. Josephine I am OK with (though it is still a bit wierd to have her in my house), but Jolanda and I don't get along the best sometimes. So we are usually kept physically separated to keep everyone un-stressed.

This time when they came over, Jolanda accidentally got in the house and came right up to my crate. I was so surprised that I forgot to bark! But the humans realized that it was cold outside! Luckily Ollie has a giant crate since he is so huge, and Josephine and Jolanda got in there and could both comfortably hang out there. This turned out to be just fine! I was a little stressed at first, as was Jolanda, but with a few treats I realized that she couldn't get to me, and she realized the same. So we just laid down and all went to sleep. The humans were very happy! They only stayed about a half an hour or 45 min to eat some food, which was a perfect amount of time to test the arrangement. I think it worked well! Next time we might even try some rotating (keeping the dog that is out on leash, though). Can't wait!
