Ever since the fateful day mom put paw wax on me, then took me to a grocery store that had freshly waxed floors (I slipped and slid my way around for 5 min, then we cancelled our shopping trip!) I have not liked to have my paws waxed. I don't need soft feet, and I'm not walking around on chemicals, so I don't need any wax to protect my feet. Still, mom waxes Ollie's paws every once in a while, so yesterday she decided to torture me by putting it on my feet.
When she came over with the pot of wax, I laid on the couch, pleading with her to not force me to endure the torture, but she wouldn't listen. I gave her poor pitiful me looks the whole time to no avail. When she was finally done, I crawled into her lap and wouldn't let her get up, insisting that she make it up to me by a number of good belly scritches. Finally, I got up and went to hide in my crate just to be sure she wouldn't try any more torture!
What an abused doggie I am, having to get wax on my feet to make them nice and soft and protected!
Leave A Comment | 2 people already have Mom doesn't use paw wax, but to make my feet soft she uses somthing called Bag Balm. It is suposed to be for cow utters but it says to can use it safely on any animal. It works wonders and she even puts it on her hands and feet at night!!
Now that mom bought some new shoes she is making me wear them whenever I am working! Now THAT is torture!! I like the paw wax (Sabrina thinks I am nuts), but yesterday at REI mom put some boots on me and I am not looking forward to that!
