On Friday Josephine and Auntie Sonja came over and took us to Briones park. I was so happy that it is finally getting nice and warm outside, so my arthritis wasn't bothering me at all. Briones was really pretty, and I enjoyed looking around, smelling everything, and sampling the grass along the way.

I was the best behaved doggie of the bunch when we got to the pasture full of cow patties! I was the only doggie that didn't roll in or eat the poop! It was so hard not to, but I managed it. It started to get really hot and mom was in pain and not feeling good, so we headed back down the trail and mom was feeling better when it was cooler with a breeze.

JoJo rolled in cow poop, and the water fountain at the park wasn't sufficient for a bath, so I invited her and her mom into my house for a bath. It was JoJo's first time in my house, and I didn't mind her being there at all. I did feel a bit sorry for her having to get a bath, but I think she enjoyed using our peppermint shampoo (or at least Auntie Sonja did), and she liked our shower situation. Then we hung around for a while, I napped in the sun, and the humans had a nice chat. I can't wait until we see them again, and the humans are planning to watch a movie together sometime- should be fun!
