This morning mom got out my service vest! I was SO excited when she did, I was really hoping she would take me back to work where I get so many lovely tummy scritches from her labmates. But instead she put a patch on the vest that has a poodle on it! Well, I knew the vest wasn't for me anymore when she put it on there. I'm not wearing a poodle patch. It made me sad when she put the vest on Ollie, though I was happy not to have to go out in the rain. When mom and Ollie got home, Ollie told me the vest worked out OK, but mom just gave me a big hug and lots of cuddles and said she really missed me. I missed her, too, it was hard today seeing the reminder of my service days being passed on to Ollie.
