OK. I can feel it in the air. Something is about to change. I think it's that my brother is about to return to school. So one less body around the house again, darn. But we had a good couple of months, even if Mom did abandon me again for 3 weeks and left me with Dad and his different approach to Dog Care. Actually, it's nice cuz after work he would open the back door and just let me do my own thing(Mom hardly ever lets me do that cuz she's afraid I'll never return but I always do) It was awfully HOT here this year while she was gone, much to my chagrin. I spent more than one night cooling off on the kitchen floor instead of ensconced in my normal, favored position of Surrogate Mom on her side of the bed.(Good thing Dad is a sound sleeper) Anyway, I'm happy that the weather has turned cool again. And soon it will be all rainy and dismal with lots of nice sloppy puddles to walk through and get disgusting in. My favorite time of year! (I'm from Wales after all)
