Naps on the couch (and the bed), long belly rubs, romps on the beach, licking her toes, doing the buttwiggle dance when her people come home, doggie daycare, disapproving of puppies, and flirting with boy dogs who still have their balls.
Pet-Peeves:
Being costumed, not sitting in the front seat, ear washes, CATS, strange men, rain, and dogs who hump without asking.
Favorite Toy:
STITCH!, Heedley the Chicken, Grunty the Hedgehog, Aflac the Duck and Kaa the Snake. Also, random breadcrusts are sometimes elevated to "baby" status and carried about.
Favorite Food:
CHEESE! Also peanut butter, vanilla ice cream, chicken jerky, scooby snacks, hot dogs, shrimp tails and Gerber's baby food.
Favorite Walk:
Fort Funston, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, Land's End, and really anywhere, anytime, especially if there's no leash involved.
Best Tricks:
She can shake, stand, speak, roll over, and sing.
Arrival Story:
We found LeeLoo at the Bay Area Boxer Rescue. We'd been searching for a boxer or boxer mix and when we saw the Loon's picture online with that big huge underbite, we knew we had to meet her. And once we met her, we knew we couldn't be without her. Despite a shady past, we could tell she was a sweetheart. A few months of training and lots of TLC and she's now the happiest, wiggliest, kissing-est dog at the dog park. She's also one of the oldest... the LeeLoo is now a very dignified 12 years old!
Bio:
She's got a 10-inch tongue that would make Gene Simmons green with envy, plus the most adorable underbite ever. She also has an undeniable talent for unleashing the smelliest, most eye-watering stinkbombs in the world. But she makes up for it by being snuggly, funny and sweet. We can't figure out what we did with ourselves before she became a part of the family.
