Arrival Story:
Sully was adopted from a great rescue organization in Northern Virignia when he was just a wee puppy. His mother had been rescued just before she had her puppies, and she appeared to be something close to an Australian Shepherd, but Sully doesn't really look anything like that and is MUCH bigger than an Aussie. So we're guessing he's part Plott because his parents are from rural Virignia where there are a lot of hounds, and he looks a bit like some Plott mixes we've seen, and just generally because it sounds like a cool kind of dog. We've yet to see him hunt much of anything, though. His original name--and this is absurd-- was Abercrombie. As if! The whole family argued over what to name him, but James finally won with Sully. Now he is a beautiful, big, tiger stripe hound boy who fits in just right as part of the family.

Bio:
Sully LOVES to play with other dogs. Sully is afraid of cows. Sully chews through leashes because he likes to jump up and take the leash in his mouth and walk himself. Sully doesn't love car rides, and for long rides sometimes he has to take a tranquilizer--and when he arrives, he runs around kind of sideways for a little while. It is very funny. Sully is a big goofy dog who loves just about everyone and everything. He is very good at keeping track of his big family, and usually spends his evenings patrolling from room to room, and from indoors to outdoors and back in, making sure he knows where everyone is and that they're doing okay.
