My 5th Birthday/Thanksgiving

Well, my birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year. Mommy & Daddy left me home alone for awhile, but not too long. When they got home, they fixed me a plate of good food~turkey, dressing, baked beans & mashed pototoes. Yummy! They gave me my plate & watched/taped me eating before they had their dinner. I got some extra treats too. I got a pink camo collar! Yay! People are STILL calling me a boy. I guess its a good thing I dont mind! LOL But Mommy got me a pink leash about a week before my birthday, so that helps. Now if I can get a new pink harness....hmmmm Christmas is coming up.....hear that Santa?
BTW, we got new neighbors. They have a beautiful black lab mix named Jake. Now I have 2 neighbors named Jake. So we call them Old Jake & New Jake. As ya know, Old Jake dont like me, but New Jake does! Yay! Of course New Jake is younger, so maybe thats why.
We had a pretty uneventful year for the most part. Except on side of our block got new sidewalks & we couldnt walk there for a week. But we have good neighbors & Sassys grandma came & took us with her a few times, so that was cool. Champ even showed up & went with us one day.

Hi all. I just wanted to drop in & say a belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Mine was pretty good. On the one side, Mommy was gone for many hours cuz her family gathered at a relatives house. I missed her alot. But Daddy stayed with me & fed me good. Of course that was before Mommy left, as you can see in my newest video.
My birthday wasnt so eventful either. Mommy did her usual photo session. The pics I think are pretty good, if I do say so myself. How do you like my tiara? Mommy says Im her little princess. She gave me treats so Id cooperate with her & we both walked away happy. Mommy & Daddy didnt have any money to buy me a new toy. But I guess I cant complain, I get a new one every month anyway. LOL And too, later Mommy remembered one she had put up for just such an occasion & gave it to me late. I wasnt really interested in it cuz I have one just like it in my toys already. I guess Mommy figured it out tho , cuz I havent seen it since. She'll prob drag it back out later. But I wont tell her I know, and dont you either! Shhhh
Well, Daddys cousin came by today. Everybody was out back except for me & here comes Mommy with a PUPPY! She held it up to the window in the storm door so we could see each other. I just did a little sniff sniff. Mommy thought it was ok to open the door just a crack & let us sniff nose to nose. Well, it took me all of 3 seconds to growl a warning to the little black ball of Mommys Lovin Stealer. So Mommy laughed & shut the door back , put that puppy away & got back in the house with me. I know she loves me best! :D

Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone! I hope you have a very happy halloween. Mine was pretty good. But Mommy dressed me up before we walked today. She really loves it, so I tolerate it, but between you & me~ not so crazy about it. Shhhh At least my pictures this year wasnt so bad. I didnt have to do any posing, just be myself in the yard. :D
Later in the day Mommy got all dressed up too. But I didnt get to go with her this time. She said she was gonna give out candy at Mamaw Belvas house. Daddy went too, but didnt get dressed up.
Im glad Daddy didnt stay as long as Mommy did cuz I heard a bunch of booms & hid under the bed till he came home. He told me it was just firecracker, but I dont care what its called, its scary!

Finally Updating :D

Well, I had my vet visit. Not fun. I got 2 shots, but they didnt hurt at all. They also cut my 'thumb' toenails. They grow in a circle & into my pads. A real pain in the tush. I didnt like this, but it didnt hurt either! The nice people there are soooo gentle! They treat me just like Mommy & Daddy do. Baby talk & all. :D
Everyone kept telling Mommy that I was getting fat. Well guess what?! I am not! I STILL weigh exactly 30 lbs! So there! A gal may get a complex about it if she didnt already know shes not fat! Ha Ha Ha
Uncle Greg brought Callie outside this evening when me & Mommy was out hanging out. He brought her right up to the fence where I had my nose sticking thru. We sniffed for a few seconds then I tried my best to get her! She jumped so fast! Ha Ha Ha I didnt really mean to be mean, but it was funny. Uncle Greg took her back in the house. Poor girl dont get to hang out outside like I do & Tommy used to. Theyre afraid she'll run away or get hit by a car.
Also, Im not allowed to go in their house anymore because me & Callie cant be together. If it aint me, its her. I guess we're just natural foes.
My birthday is coming up soon, in November. I'll be 4! Yay! So if there are no new pics up before then, there will be.
Well, Im signing off for now. I hear my fav spot under Mommys computer chair calling me for a nap. I'll be Eing you later.

just checking in

Hi everyone! Just checking in again, I know its been awhile.
Not a whole lot to write about tho. Mommy & me are back to our daily walks, Yay! But shes also been better about brushing my hair EVERY day! sigh I guess its the price to pay to be beautiful! Sorry if I seem vain,but I DO get told daily how pretty I am. LOL
I hope to get new pics up on here in a few minutes, chcek em out.
Oh, I guess I'll be going to the vet for my reg visit & get a shot or 2 in July. NOT looking forward to THAT! But I'll let ya know how it goes. Daddy thinks Ive gained weight, but Mommy says I havent. I guess we'll see.....

Good to be back!

Well, its been awhile since we've checked in. Alot has happened, I'll catch ya up.
We are back to our old house that Mommy & Daddy lived in when I came along. The landlady made us move so she could sell the house. A neighbor & friend let us move into one of his rentals just around the block. We were there for exactly 3 months.
Our new landlord bought our old house & let us move back into it! Yay! It feels SOOOOOO good to be home! I get to sit under my bush & lay on my steps & see my old buddies going by. Unfortunately one of my buddies, Silk crossed the rainbow bridge. Her human got a new puppy named Katie. She is a border collie & is beautiful! Cant have the humans be in a house without a canine! Me & Mommy walk around our block like we used to!
Same deal with the landlady & moving & moving home with Mamaw Belva. So we are back to being neighbors again. :D
We have had our computer crash, having a borrowed one, & getting a new one, so thats also part of why we've been away.
We hope to get some new pictures on here soon & maybe a video or 2.
Oh and one more thing. Mamaw Belva got a kitten. Her name is Callie, she is a Calico. Mommy took me to see Callie one time & I had her head in my mouth in no time, but I didnt hurt her. Daddy came to her rescue. Now Mommy is afraid to take me to see her because she is so mean. She bites & scratches. She may eventually get herself a Catster page. We'll see.

My 3rd Birthday

Hi everyone! I know its a day late, but I wanted to tell you I had a pretty good birthday. It rained, so I didnt get to go on a walk. But Mommy did take me around our new block twice yesterday. She says it will take awhile to get used to our new routine and we wont actually get to make a new one until probably spring. We dont have sidewalk all the way around this block & have to kinda walk in the road a bit. We dont like that at all.
Anyway, back to my birthday~Daddy made me a birthday plate of leftover turkey & ham. It was really good. I dont care it was leftovers, Id eat it any time!
It was a quiet birthday for the most part. Mommy played with me a little more than usual & took some pics of me outside between showers. She kept trying to get one of me on the porch looking between the slats, but I wanted to be out in the yard with her. So she had Daddy to come out on the porch. Well, that did no good, I STILL wanted to be out in the yard with Mommy! So Daddy kinda held me still long enough for her to get a couple. She said thats ok, she'll get some later when the weather is nicer & Im more used to my new yard.
My new yard is bigger, but there is no bush for me to lay under. Mommy said she may get one for me later. I do have a nice porch to lay on tho. I guess we'll see.
Mommy didnt get me a new toy this year. But she gave me 2 new ones in the last month since we moved, so its ok. I have plenty to play with.
All in all it was a nice quiet birthday. At least Mommy didnt dress me up this year and for that Im grateful! He He

Tommy Is Gone

Hi all. I just wanted to let you know that my kitty brother Tommy is gone. He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning. I was with him right up to the very last breath as was Mommy and Daddy. It was a sad day for us all.
You can see him with me (last picture on my page) under my favorite bush which I decided to share with him cuz turns out he was pretty cool... for a cat. I'll miss him alot. Woof for now.....

Updating

Hi everybody! I know its been awhile since Ive checked in. Mommy has had some computer issues and everything around here is topsy turvy. See, the landlady put our house up for sale & we have to move. Im not sure what to make of all the boxes stacked everywhere.
Mamaw Belva had to move too. We have/had the same landlady. She didnt move very far away, its walking distance but it feels weird not being able to go to her house any time I feel like it.
When she moved we inherited Tommy full time. Hes having a rough time of it I think. So we let him in our house & take care of him. When we move we're hoping he will stay with us. You know cats sometimes dont realize whats best for them and he's kinda old too. Wish us luck.
I had a bad spell there for awhile with itching. Mommy gave me a bath & put the flea drops on me & Im much better. She said it was the first time Ive had fleas. But the day she gave me a bath (which I REALLY dont like) I waited till her & Daddy went to sleep & chewed a sore on my hip. Mommy found it the next morning when she brushed me. But she doctored it & its much better now.
Well, I believe thats the main stuff I wanted to update ya all on. I'll be checking in as I can. Woof ya later!

A New Friend

Hi, I just wanted to update ya. I have a new doggy friend. She is a miniature schnauzer, I believe. She is about 1 year old and her name is Gracie. You can see her in my video. Her colors and markings look alot like my Angel sister, Scruffy. Her Daddys come to visit Mamaw Belva and sometimes Gracie comes over to my house to visit me. The other day me, Mommy, Gracie and her daddy went for a walk. We had already been for our walk, but who am I to complain about a bonus walk, right? But I have to say, they walked a little too fast. I was really dog tired when we got home. Next time Mommy is gonna ask em to slow down & smell the grass! LOL Till next time, Woof Woof
