The retrieve that almost paid off...

Jan 5th mum here learned my Golden Snitch has a 'natural' talent.

We were in the local grocery store, we'd finished shopping & checking out. Snitch's 'fan club' had gathered around to give him their usual greetings. We shop late at night & they look forward to us coming in as it breaks up the last hour or so that they work. Snitch's favorite among them is the manager. We bumped into her in another store a few months back on her day off, ever since then he thinks she's family, he adores her. Tonight she was soaking up the extra attention from Snitch, bragging to everyone that Snitch loves her best, he is sitting as close as he possibly can to her & working the puppy eyes. At that moment one of the employees comes over with a pink envelope to hand the manager. She takes it with her 'free' hand without getting up from petting Snitch. She turns to look at me, as we are talking. Snitch takes this moment to casually remove the money stuffed (though sealed) envelope from her hand, casually gets up, brings it to me & sits front. "Here mum." lol It took the manager a moment to realize what Snitch had done, he had 'snitched' it so well. Everyone was laughing before she had even noticed. They all claim I taught him this gift & taught him well. Ah, I deny everything... ;) Contrary to this story, no, he was not named after a thief, but the enchanted quidditch ball in Harry Potter, he just loves to bring people things!!! :D
