Happy Birthday my beautiful boy. It was 14 years ago at about 2:00 AM
that I took you into my hands and rubbed you dry. Then we tied an orange piece of yarn around your neck and you became "orange". You were such a tiny pup-you didn't want to nurse. We had to move one of your brother's or sister's away to make room for you. Your mother, Pandora, was such a good Mommy. She laid very still and let all of you little guys nurse.
Your daddy, Loki, seemed scared and he steered clear of the "birthing room" after having a little peek in. I don't think that he was really happy until all his pups were out of his house. You came one day to visit Mutzy.
He was very sick -but he really seemed to like you. He held his head up to watch you scampering around and then you laid down right next to him.
He seemed to like that too. Do you think he knew that when he left for the Rainbow Bridge that you were coming to our home? Brandy was all excited -I think she liked her new brother-to-be. I remember the day Daddy took Mutzy to the vet-it was time for him to join Shezam and Magoo at the Rainbow Bridge. You were in the next room having a tooth pulled. Suddenly the sun filled the back rooms where there were no windows and shined on Mutzy and you. it was impossible for the light to be there-yet it was. It was a sign that Mutzy had just left for the Rainbow Bridge. Daddy and the vet were so surprised at the light that we knew some of Mutzy had gone into you. that made you even more precious.
At that moment Daddy knew that you would be our boy. You had been at Mommy and Daddy's house, but soon you came to us. You had a big blue bow around your neck and a big balloon tied to it that said, " Happy Mother's Day." What a wonderful gift you made. You gave me and daddy so much love in the twelve years you lived with us. thank you for coming to us-thank you for being so special-thank you for the years of love you gave to all of us. The day you left-Sept.12th to go to the Rainbow Bridge you broke our hearts. Have a Happy Birthday my baby boy. Now you can eat all the treats you want. I hope you come and visit -we will have a party for you with Frosty paws.
