Going to work with Mom!!

this coming Friday is take your pet to work day! I get to go!! woohoo!! plus mom says everyone at the airport where mom works just loves me anyway! well duh mom why wouldn't they!! pleaze!!
Dallas doesn't get to go cause he gets a little cranky sometimes when people come up to me or mom, but not me!! I love everyone! the pilots throw balls down the long hall for me to run up and down and get, sometimes I even get to go ride in the airplanes with them BOL !!
I am so excited I get to go to work with mom!!

Take Your Dog to Work Day

woohoo!! check out my new pictures! I went to work with mom today! I have so much fun when I go to the airport. I walk up and down the halls and look in everyone's office to say hi! I get to go lay in the lobby and greet eveyone as they come in then the best thing of all is I get to go on an airplane! mom's camera wasn't working right so she missed the picture of me being the co-pilot!
I am one tired puppy!! I need a nap!

I did it!!!

we just had storms that woke all of us up! me and poor Duchess, can't stand those loud thunder and the sky lighting up! so we are all awake.
I decided to go ahead an up date my diary with my great news!! mom is so proud of me!! Got weighed today, and I have lost 21 lbs!! only 5 more pounds to go. They all thought I looked so good and pretty!! everyone at Dr Greg's off was telling me and mom. Then after that, Charis (my furless cousin) and her dad were driving through here on there way to North Dakota to see her grandma, so me and mom went and meet them at the place they were stopped to get gas. First time I got to meet her. SO I had one of the bestest days, well except for these thunder/lighting storms. but I think they are gone, mom said we needed the rain plus it is cooling it off here which I will like cause it has been 108 for the last few days, way to hot to go out and play.
gotta go, mom said time to go back to bed!

the "C" word

well I haven't been feeling very good for a couple of weeks. I go and see my favorite guy Dr Emmetts ( I just love him) he does some test and told mom I have UTI and gave me some antibiotics. (I had been wetting everywhere, all over the house. thank goodness mom didn't get mad cause she knew something was wrong. well after I finished my antibiotics I was still drinking alot and still peeping everywhere, so back to the see Dr Emetts, they did blood work and he said I didn't have an infection anymore but my calcium levels were a little up. then over the next week mom started noticing things, I stopped sleeping in mom bed, I wouldn't jump up and I wouldn't jump up in her SUV anymore either. then I stopped eating. well we went back to the vets today, Dr Emmetts wasn't there but his associate was there, (I like her too!) was so she started running test, they got part way with the X-Ray machine and it stopped working, but she did other test and more blood work and came out and told me & mom that my calcium levels were really high, infact they had doubled in the one week since I had them before. they found 3 lumps (two in my back legs and one on my belly) and 10 lumps in my mouth they did biopsy and sent them off to be tested. But I have all the signs of cancer. my mom has to feed me with a syringe cause I don't feel like eating. Mom has done a lot of crying and hugs me alot but all I want to do is lay and sleep

rough night!

I had a pretty rough night last night, mom sleep on the sofa with me cause I have this thing where I like to sleep with my head on moms feet, use them as my pillow BOL!! but since I can't jump in up on moms bed anymore she decided to come sleep with me. about 3:30 I woke her up cause I need to go outside. Well I was sick at my stomach and stayed sick all night, I had to go out about every 15 mins, mom was really tired so she just left the back door open for me. I mean really mom has a lock on the backyard gate and someone would really have to be nuts to come in our house with Dallas, he would eat them alive.
Remember when he bite my uncles finger off cause he came in the house with out mom being here, and then when we were with pops and pops was standing in front of the car talking to someone I was in the front seat and Dallas was laying in the back and some strange man walked up and stuck his hand in the car towards me and here came Dallas. Dallas got his arm but lucky pops was so close cause Dallas would have eaten him. Dallas is very protective of mom, he even sleeps on the floor right next to her, no matter where she sleeps.
but back to me and not having a good night. so I was going out every 10 or 15 mins. then when mom got up at 6AM to feed Dallas & Rascal she decided I needed to eat too, she put it in my bowl I walked over and sniffed it then went outside and had the dry hives again. when I came back in mom had this big syringe with something brown in it, next thing I knew she was putting it down my throat, I can tell you, I did not like it one bit. I was fight trying to get away, well why she was fixing the next syringe I went and hid, but she found me so I ran to my crate, thought for sure i was safe there but no, she crawls in there with me. (Since her stroke she can't get on the floor, so I thought I was safe) then she locks me in my crate (the door on that crate hasn't been closed in years) so goes and fixes another syringe full, crawls back in my crate with me and sticks it down my throat. I started feeling better, I crawled up on the sofa and sleep straight through for 4 hours with out waking up. Mom was so happy. So guess what she did about noon, she decided to feed me again, this time it was only 2 syringes, I sleep on and off all day. I did not get sick at me stomach once today, I even pooped a little. Then tonight when she feed Dallas & Rascal she fixed 3 more syringes for me and we had a war again but mom won and get it down me and I have sleep on and off all day. So mom said I would be getting feed at 3:30AM this morning if I have to go out and sick all night

another day!!

I had a pretty good night. my pops came up with the bright idea to add aspirin to my food. so mom crushed one up and put in it in my food then I was feeling so much better. so 12 hrs later when mom gets up to feed me at 3:30am, (that is usually when I get up and stand in the middle of the room, just kinda dazed) so gave me so more and I went right back to sleep, an sleep until 7AM, that is late for me. then mom feed me again, I still don't like it but mom has it down so I don't fight her as much. she traps me on the sofa, and I don't have anywhere to go. The I got another dose mid-afternoon.
Then when mom feed me tonight I went right to sleep, mom was relieved. Well time to go back to sleep. I go back to the vet tomorrow to get more X-Rays so I will let ya know.

Diary of the Day!

I had a much better night last night. I sleep the whole night through, mom says it is cause she is getting so much food down me. I have lost 12 lbs in the last week. So I guess mom thinks she will up me food. I am not happy at all when she sticks that big ole syringe in my mouth then squirts. She has up to 3 every 4 hours. Mom did call the vets yesterday and told them I needed some pain meds so she went and picked some up, let me tell you they are a miracle drug. I was playing with Dallas for a little while, I even jumped up on mom bed. I haven't jumped up there in 3 weeks, the only thing mom doesn't like about it is she can only give it to me once every 24 hours.
The X-Ray machine was not fixed at the vets so I still haven't had that yet. At least I am feeling a little better which mom swears it cause she is squirting that food down me!!

Vets again

I am at the vets again for x-rays. The news mom got this morning wasn't good the 2 lumps in my back legs is actually one big lump. They are doing the x-rays now to see what can be done but it is cancerous Of course mom has been teary eyed all day but hopefully it will be all ok. Well it my turn to go back so I will have news when the results come back

Not good news!

I had my X-Rays and they aren't good. Mom went in with the vets and looks at them, the cancer has eaten up a lot of my spine and the bone in my back leg, that is why I have trouble walking. They said I have 1 possible 2 months left but unless I start eating it could be even less They said mom will know when it is time to let me go. they gave me some steroids and pain meds to keep me as comfortable as possible.
