Introducing Myself

Hi !! I am "Teddy"....
Right now my mamma would tell you I am a happy, healthy (with possible siezures),bouncy ,delightful puppy. I have lived with this family right now 15 days...the longest I have ever lived anywhere since the day they took me away from my birth mom. When I first came here...for at least the first week..I wouldn't leave my foster moms side...or shoe...BOL...you would always find me by my moms shoe if I wasn't in her lap or at her side..but after a week I started to venture away from her a little bit and would play with toys and the other siblings and I even ran from room to room away from my mom. But I always have kept my eye on her so I know right where she is at every minute. My mom is really proud of me cuz I took to puppy pads right away and she was over joyed when I learned "sit." like right away...none of her other kids have that down but she says thats her fault. My mom especially works with me alot, I have learned sit, working on no bite still...and off...I have to be well trained because I could get a little big for my mom ....and I am definately going to be the biggest doggie here..if you don't know why I am here you might want to read my moms letter to my sis, Angel....the one about their last talk. THAT's why I will be adopted into this family. THAT's why they call me "Angel's Teddy"...though they just call me Teddy for obvious reasons....oh wanna hear something cool...my name means Gift Of God.....isn't that crazy?? Mamma had just started calling me Teddy because she was told I was a teddy bear breed...Angel was real sick so mamma didn't give my name much thought at all...one night when she was up late and alone she looked up the meaning of Angel's name and it means Messenger of God...mamma should have known that!! Duh! But then she looked up my name, Teddy...and here it is Gift of God. Well I better go..I need my siezure med and it's supposed to be nice out today so we hope to go for walks and play in the yard with the pawrents....will you be my friend?? I need friends...most people were just gonna kill me but the few friends I had saved my life!!

I AM ADOPTED!!!

Hi Friends,
My pawrents decided to adopt me officially the evening of Feb.18th ,2013..one week to the night that we let our Angel go to the Bridge. Mamma says Angel would have approved of this!!! Angel and I had alot in common. For one people gave up on us and were gonna let us die but in both casese my mom and dad stepped in and said,"NO way!"
Sooo guess what I have done so far today?? Daddy watched all the kids upstairs and mamma and I played and "worked" for treats and played some more. Mamma is sooo proud of me cuz she says I have the "sit" DOWN!!! Yeah me..BOL! I am still working on no bite and off....I am a happy, bubbly, bouncing, loveable baby boy! I bring my family much love, hugs, and smiles and they give me the same. Oh and guess what else...when it is my med time I even sit nice for my med! I heard my mamma crying last night cuz she misses Angel, she was sobbing...but today she is happy with me..I make her smile and laugh again..she tells me all the time how special I am and stuff and she even said," God brought you to us Teddy, just like He did Angel and when you follow God's lead you never lose! God and Angel knew we would need you and your special little personality to help us get through this!"
Well friends I need to go..the grandson is coming over soon to stay with us awhile. Laters!!

I got some LOOT!!

Hi Friends,
Guess what...mamma went shopping for me the other day and I got an automatic waterer and feeder..mamma and daddy keep food in front of puppys all the time...I also got a real cool shirt...I think it says "All American Stud"....and I got a red vest harness...really cool...then we all got special chewy bones filled with chicken or peanut butter..mamma has new photo's of me that she wants to try to get uploaded so you can all see! I LOVE the grooming table...I like to lay down to be groomed...like a show dog...BOL! Mamma says I'm kinda "vain" what ever that means. I love to run FAST in my yard..we have pictures of me running sooo fast I almost look like a blur...but it's fun! I am getting better about "No bite" and "Off" and I even sit to take my med!!!! Mamma calls me Mr. Personality...and boy do I ever have a big one of those!! I like to crawl in the laundry baskets..I fetch toys and bring them back...I do have ONE problem though that worries mamma..maybe you all will have some suggestions...you know I am wayyy bigger then the little ones that are 5lbs...Tiny and Billie Jean and Demi is about 6 pounds...well I like to run them down and put my paw on them and they can't move...BOL! Mamma is afraid I will accidentally hurt them..she knows I wouldn't mean to, that I am just a puppy who wants to play but ....what would you do to keep Tiny and Billie safe???

News news and more news!

Hi Everybody,
Boy do I have the news for you!! A week ago today I went in for my "boy" surgery...it went wayyy good...shoot I didn't even know I had surgery! I also had the neccessary shots needed at the time and started heart worm.
My dawgy Dr...and my mom really question whether I ever had a siezure or not so they are slowly taking me off the medicine..the Dawgy Dr. says if I don't need it she dosen't want me to have it cuz it has bad side effects down the road!
I am ENJOYING life!! I play and play and play till I am tuckered out! My mom spends special one on one time with me every day and we try to get in two sessions a day...we get that done most days...I have learned to sit and fetch and no bite...well I still kinda forget and do that but mom is right there to correct me...she teaches me off and down too but thats a work in progress! Mamma and I play and play and she wads me up in a furry ball and plays with me and says,"Everybody needs a Teddy Bear!" I love rough houseing with her like that too..it's fun!
I will get my bath tomorrow...since my surgery was just one week ago today we are gonna give it an extra day...I did get all brushed and combed out...as Tiny would say..."AGAIN!"...but I like it.
Well mamma says I gotta let her go cuz she still wants to give Demi a bath tonight...so take care ya 'all!!
